no, you won't answer the question because you know which ever meaning you try and choose will always be wrong and you look even more a twat than you do already.
I don't need to, the tense and the application indicate the meaning, much like the sentence "the spanners are in trouble already, just as I predicted" has no alternative meaning to the one that has proven hilariously incorrect
After beating Arsenal (well done) you lost at home to a couple of relegation candidates (or so we thought). At the time losing at home to Leicester was the very definition of trouble. Between Oct 24 after beating Chelsea (well done again) you proceeded to go to 28 Dec before you won another game. Sounds like trouble to me. You even gave Villa one of their rare points. I don't know when HIAG made his post, but without Payet you looked very ordinary and, dare I say it, in a little trouble. Since then you have been top class, totally turned it around and having an excellent season. We were also in seeming trouble early on losing to Utd (unluckily) and then drawing lots of games and Kane couldn't buy a goal, but we've also turned it around to have a great season so far. If you offer opinions on Sport you are bound to get some wrong. You could be cowardly and not offer opinions of course.
Fair dos ... although some of us might have had issues with 'relegation candidates' too ... indeed I precicted us (pre-season thread) to take the 'surprise' team 'award' and finish in 7th ... made-up that they've proven me to be wildly wrong
By the way, I wonder who you are thinking of when you say it would be "cowardly" not to offer any opinions?
I don't think Mahrez will move. Leicester don't need the money ate will give him CL football next season. Payet is almost 29 so I guess it depends who would take a punt.
I have nothing against Newcastle but it's hard to root for any team that has Benitez as its manager. He's such a monumental ****.
I have to say up until the appointment I would have prefered Newcastle to Sunderland. It's amazing how the arrival of one sanctimonious prick at a club can change all that. Fine margins as they say
