I think his time is coming to an end, he's only got one year left of his contract. So it's either this summer or next. I just think the club need to replace him with somebody who can do a better job, rather than listening to the calls of the plastics who want him sacked tomorrow.

There it is. Pixie admits he was wrong 34000 posts later and gives in to herd mentality.

What a disgusting way to treat a great manager

I think the Manchester United situation has focussed a few minds - replacing someone of Wenger's stature is not as easy as some may think.

That said, and I have not really been giving it large since yesterday, I was very surprised at how easily they gave up - the side with the determination beat the far more talented one and that has to be a worry.

Yep, we should have had that game in the bag by HT, poor finishing and mistakes at the back cost us again. We only started playing when we went 0-2 down, not good enough.

As for the manager situation, the Utd scenario shows how hard it is to replace a great manager, although that said SAF left Utd with an ageing squad of has beens. Lots of Arsenal fans simply want Wenger out because they are frustrated and assume that anybody would be better, but they don't actually realise how bad it could get. When the time comes for Wenger to step down, then the club need to have somebody in place who can do at least as good a job and improve on the areas that Wenger has been too stubborn to change.

    You have been brainwashed.

There are plenty of managers who could have done a better job than Arsene given his budget and stability

Denis Bergkamp is one who keeps getting bandied about. Must admit I thought you would get Klopp.

    That is extremely harsh.
At least 24000 of those postings are tagged 'HIAG obsession' .

... I was off buying a new app at the weekend which includes an internet bullshit decoder ... applied it to HIAG's post and it 'suggests' that he was down at the Garden Centre buying a shed ... if anyone else wants it I can knock-off a few copies for £50 a time? :)

  18. BREAKING NEWS!! BREAKING NEWS!! BREAKING NEWS!! BREAKING NEWS!!

Pixie was asked if he still wanted Wenger to stay at the club, and his reply was:-

    WHAT A BOMBSHELL!!!

    This is utterly unbelievable!

Yesterday, Pixie was Wenger's greatest advocate; today, he wants shot! Fickle barely describes these actions!

I think someone ought to start a poll to garner the opinions of people as to whether they believe this is the greatest climb-down in the history of this site (or any other site, for that matter)!

<laugh> I love the way you've edited my quote, it shows how desperate you are.

I'm also quietly chuckling at how much of a drama, my opinion of Wenger, is in your life. You can't have much else going on :)
