I was saving a Chateauneuf-du-pape, a present from my daughter at xmas, but fully justified opening it, none left.
I am a Sunday School teacher and had a class today. I was sorely tempted to cancel but it would not have been right for me to do so. On that basis, and huge tongue in cheek apologies to the atheists, I am claiming full responsibility for the win Seriously though - what a phenomenal performance! And welcome to the hall of fame ( the door of which you already left ajar last season and pushed a bit more in the transfer windo) Mr Guediora
Good on you Dan, I suspect that your work with the kids was rather more influential than my lucky bottle of Merlot. Bordeaux has become rather expensive.
I picked the wrong day to run a Half Marathon! A great surprise to check the scoreline when I finished, although listening in to the last five minutes on the radio was a bit nervy!
Thanks, it was an incentive to get round in time to hear the end of the game! I am running the London marathon on 24 April, so I desperately want us drawn to play the semi on 23 April rather than 24 April! I don't care who we have, just make it Saturday please.
I have just looked to see when the final is going to be played and found out that I will be on holiday. This has happened when we have been in the play offs, and I have been trying to get an internet signal from anywhere with minor success. This year I will be somewhere that does have a slow access, and one that tends to fade, but better than having to find a McDonalds with free access.
Hopefully the FA will take some.retrospective action against Gabriel for that shocker of a challenge. Dreadful.
No doubts about team spirit and togetherness when you watch that video. I must admit I bottled it when Arsenal equalized. Thought it a good idea to feed the dog and do some quick chores. And having seen the chances they had at the end I am glad I did.
Firstly, what an incredible day! Those days are so fabulously special. Secondly, i find it odd, though if you listen to the manager of AFC maybe not so odd, but...every Arsenal fan i've spoken to, and fans forums i've seen have said about their players, their tactics, their manager, their club...not a mention, not even a word, about us! lol...it's like we weren't there to them! We could have been Otch Plotch united for all they knew..even if you look at their forum here, you'd be hard pressed to see the word Watford anywhere except in the match thread header! Though i did see a mention of Ighalo at one point! Weird.
All true but their match thread is hilarious - after half time it turned into lynching party. I watched the second half in the pub - two Arsenal "fans" were berating the ref for not giving Pantillimon a second yellow for time wasting .
