Ok so I was going with either.....
The hunger games or ipMan 3..... Ended up watching
"Run all night", Liam neeson and ed Harris.
About a hitman that has to choose between his son
Or the mob... Yer real original.... Not !!!
Watchable without being great, liked the camera
Work where they flit from scene to scene...

I quite enjoyed that. Good action movie, yes a little predictable but did what you'd expect it to.

We watched San Andreas last night. Same vein really. Enjoyable and fun. Strange to think though that at some point, that fault line will move, a lot, and there's millions of people living on the bugger.

Agreed. Interesting and entertaining story with rounded characters rather than the usual bland stereotypes.

Slightly disappointed when I checked to find that little else, apart from the contempt charge for non disclosure, was based on any real case. Doesn't spoil the film at all but a bit misleading to claim it was based on a true story. Odd that it was never released in cinemas.

(Thanks for the pointer Rtr, lot's of enforced idle time on my hands, keep them coming.)

You mean people still pay for that crap. Just had a mesmerising hour and half watching "The Man From the Earth". Best film I have watched in ages. Didn't cost a thing. :)

This film was a revelation (no pun intended). I didn't think films like this were made anymore. It harks back to a time when content was valued above flashiness and dialogue above split second cuts. As if an episode of "The Twighlight Zone" were written by Priestly or Wells.

Wouldn't want to misdirect anyone though, it is just people in a room talking. Won't suit everyone but highly recommended for those who enjoy a good thought provoking story well told. (And can put up with little action and no sex.)

(I believe it's on Netflix. (whatever that is))

"45 years", enjoyed it, will not be to everyone's taste but I liked it,
and charlotte still has a fantastic figure at 70 years of age,
she still is a handsome woman but when she was young.. OMG !!!
Mr Courtnay does his city proud, fantastic actor...

After watching Montage of Heck, fancied watching some music based film.

Watched A Hard Day's Night last night, bloody great film, easily the best Beatles film by a mile.

I thought Olympus has Fallen was bad but they have excelled themselves with London Has Fallen.

Mildly amusing to see the Met get it's arse kicked and some unsetteling novelty in the Hollywood explosions, crashes and shooting taking place at London landmarks. It's primary message is one of xenophobic paranoia and trust in American super heroes.

Worth seeing for it's comedy value but I wouldn't recommend paying for the privilege.

" before I go to sleep", wasn't actually that bad,
I'm not normally Kidman fan, it was a bit predicable
    But watchable...

I feel slightly more confident about this one than the last one, for two reasons.

One, Lucas is nowhere ****ing near it. The man is a genius, but he's seemingly turned into poison when it comes to movies. Thank goodness Kathleen Kennedy is now in charge of Lucasfilm, she knows exactly what she's doing.

Two, look at what Disney did with Star Wars. This could easily be a great way to pass the torch, so to speak.

I think this could be very good. Personally I would stay away (to me the last one doesn't exist, and it sounds like this new one might be retconning it anyways), the original trilogy is perfect as it is.
