    Atkinson is a ****ing idiot.

Payet should have had a penalty and quite how he concluded that he fouled the United defender in that one on one is beyond me.

United lucky as ****, but they'll get done in the replay anyway

It happens so often with Man Utd I think they are coached to look for the block if they miss the ball

West Ham will be favourites. But I've seen enough of their football to know that they perform worst when they are expected to win. Not a foregone conclusion by any means.

Howard Webb is so much more reasonable now that Ferguson has released his kids.

Tbf Atkinson should have given the 2nd yellow for a dive by Payet. And given the mancs the advantage. It is either a pen or a yellow card. It cannot be neither.

It was a pen. No doubt.

You mean he could have ****ed up the easy penalty for West Ham and red card for Man Utd even more

The replay looked more like a dive. There was a sliding tackle but Payet actually went out of his way to make contact. Like Ashley Young :bandit:

Young does it against a player already stood in front of him

Even if Payet looked to make contact it was against someone illegally sliding in from the side with no chance to get the ball

Yes but he didn't make contact with Payet. It was Payet who initiated the contact and therefore not illegal.

Whoa, just saw the Palace penalty against Reading.

    1) The contact was 'minimal'.

    2) Reading was at home.

    3) Okay, it wasn't in injury time, but otherwise it was the full Meldrew menu for a blouse attack.

I missed the game on Friday - did Meldrew complain against the penalty?

Payet can legally go in any direction he wants since he has, and retains, the ball

So he is entitled to go in the direction of an uncontrolled slide

And there was - plenty of it, and Roco knew it. And even Pardew appears to have become a convert now.

On Arsenal, how did Arsenal not gone through from a tie with Watford and at home?

What is this world coming to? Arsenal beaten at home in an important match for them, ditto Chelsea with one of the most Expensive squads ever assembled.

No wonder this country is going down. nothing is real anymore. We'll soon be in isolation too.
