Meltdown? When we're all used to attacking ineptitude for a few seasons now.

Bruce has one tactic - piss about at the back - pass to a wide wing man who then pumps it aimlessly into the middle - if it doesn't work try it again - if it doesn't work blame anyone except himself

WTF was going on in the first half? Worst 45 minutes we've produced this season by far. MKD were crap but they seemed to want it more than we did in the first period. 2nd half much better - but could hardly have been worse. How did Akpom miss that header by the way?

On another note that was the most disgraceful display of time wasting I have ever seen by any team and I have been watching City since 1974/5 season. For that reason alone I hope MKD get relegated. Although the ref was generally crap, at least he added on a decent amount of time at the end.

I know that being a manager can't be that easy and we are all probablyunderestimating the task when we moan on here

But you don't have to be a complete moron to realise Diame isn't a winger. How can you justify that decision.

Bruce, for all his qualities, makes the oddest decisions very often.

When I heard the team I thought Diame must be in centre midfield alongside Hayden with Clucas on the left. Couldn't believe it was the other way round

At least this won't happen again this season now. We only lost because we played a cup game this week, everyone knows you can't have a cup run and a promotion push together.

We'll win every game now til the end of the season and finish 3rd.

The Akpom header was pretty high up, he didn't time the jump very well and he just got under it. It needed to be lower, but never mind.

I think the thing that is frustration people that are anti Bruce, wrong for me to say that, frustrating me, the most is that this is Bruces squad. He essentially put all of it together, got us promoted (great!! and with only 75 points or something) and then got us relegated and miraculously managed in the main to hang onto a squad which for 5/8ths of last season was a team competing ok in the Premiership. Then all of a sudden it went wrong. Its a similar time to last season that we are entering now and it seems to be happening again. He still hasn't, despite spending a heap of money, got a collection of players who seem to be connected either in unity or football prowess. We have had no one on the treatment table for many weeks until this week, 'a headache, ' as Bruce put it such was the availability of players. And yet, out of a squad of 22, he hasn't been able to put out a passionate, cohesive, threatening team for weeks - I include the game at Ipswich where we could so easily have lost the game or dropped even more points. There are two things, either the squad is not good enough, or the manager isn't.

Okay, having melted down for a couple of hours and then come back to the world of the living, I have to say that it seems all so predictable at the moment, defensively by and large we are sound, but that`s about it, we have lost the ability to create again, Hernandez seems isolated up front whether they play another alongside him or not. Diame for some reason has lost his mojo and is a virtual passenger. How do we rectify it ????, I would suggest possibly returning to 3-5-2 but do we have another striker who could earn the shirt up front ???, I wish I knew the solution, but i`m grasping at straws. Aluko for me spends more time on his arse then on his feet, and when he does decide to have a go his end product is none existent, so frustrating. Akpom and Diamonde have shown bugger all to suggest they could help us in the run in. Perhaps playing 5 across the middle could allow Thudd the chance to dictate without getting overrun in the middle of the park, with Clucas and Livermore either side of him, and perhaps play Snoddy up front alongside Hernandez, at least the bloke has shown a bit of nouse. I thought the starting eleven today looked good on paper, although I have to admit I was expecting Clucas on the left with Diame in the middle !!, it`s fairly obvious we need to halt this poor run and get back to winning ways, perhaps a team like Forest who will hopefully look to come at us may be the thing needed, here`s hoping.

<laugh><laugh> It's great, it really is, I wonder if he regrets getting rid of our experienced promotion campaigners.

All that bullshit yet you can't put half that much effort into making a positive post when we win. In fact you can't even bring yourself to make the effort to post at all when we win.
