When he scored that great goal against Chelsea to make it 3-1 at Stamford Bridge I thought he was going to burst with happiness. Then I feared for Sadio Mane when he jumped into Graziano's arms and got the life squeezed out of him.

Bournemouth won again. This time against Swansea (3-2). They're now 13th in the table with 38pts.

Delighted to see them staying up. Attacking football, young players and a young English manager.

Eddie Howe is really quite impressive and I hope that he is our #1 choice to come in after Ronald.

<laugh> You were doing such a good job of ingratiating yourself with Bournemouth fans...til that last statement.

    Ha, true!

I don't think it'll happen anyway, for a multitude of reasons:

    - Howe is a Bournemouth legend
    - Plenty of scope for further improvement at AFCB - (has said he won't leave AFCB until he feels he can take them no further)
    - Has the backing of a Russian billionaire
    - Building a legacy, you could argue
    - Ex-Pompey and AFCB player, has had run-ins with Saints
    - Doesn't seem particularly fond of us
    - Would cause one hell of a fall-out if he left them for us, especially with the two sides in the same league

Only reason I can see for him wanting to join us is to manage in Europe if he doesn't think he can do it at Bournemouth.

The only thing that can get in the way of Eddie having a promising career is England national, avoid that and he'll be fine!

It has been nine years since a team with 50+ points finished in the bottom half. Twelve teams are still on a 50+ point pace, and fourteen teams are on pace for 48+.

Weekly reminder that the Premier League is flat.

A Kane goal gives Spurs the lead against Villa.

One of the least surprising events of this season

    http://www.express.co.uk/sport/foot...e-Leicester-Tottenham-Manchester-City-Arsenal

Express publishing the possible EPL table at the end of the season as predicted by the stats. Newcastle, Norwich and Aston Villa relegated....AV certainly, but still a lot of games to go and Norwich managed that draw against City at the weekend, so not sure about them. Spurs to win (sadly possibly true) but then also possible that Leicester can do it:) Have us as 7th behind ManU and above Liverpool on GD....would settle for that.
