    What a truly superb win. Really nervy for 20 mins or so second half but weathered it and saw it through. Mane sending off a joke. Get the appeal in immediately. VVD absolute total legend. Long awesome; Pelle shows his great stubbornness and belief to come again. Terrific free kick from JWP. Great team attitude when it seemed as though the season and desire may be fizzling out. Credit to Koeman and players. Now if we can only beat Liverpool.....

    Well we were crap as usual, and deserved to lose 3-0 ....

    Sorry, I started writing this 5 minutes before kick off. Come on, what happened? We looked like a team; Pelle scored two and should have had more; we didn't miss Victor or Jose. Is this my team? Oh yes. Virgil should be given the freedom of the City now - what a buy he has turned out to be. Our two Irishmen were quite brilliant. Let no-one try a cheeky bid for either of them.

    And it wasn't cold and one of their stewards said he thought we deserved the win. Going home to lie down in a darkened room. When I wake up I'll watch MOTD and find out we lost!

    How long is Virgil's contract?...The man is an absolute giant in defence and offers a lot in possession and offensively too. I think that he is a shoo-in for Saints Player of the Year and could possibly make the BPL TOTS.
