Only pay attention to 10% of it.

Rafa will feed him stories but not all.

 

They don't need to catch Palace or Swansea. They just need to finish above Villa, Norwich and Sunderland.

I think palace won't earn many more points but you can't depend on a straight shoot out with the others

I think catching the stragglers like palace is vital to all of them

So Rafa the waiter ties up his apron and takes his drinks tray down to Leicester in his first game in charge of Newcastle ... can see them getting a point out of that with the 'bounce' and tomato face giving them hell in the kitchen ...

Realistically it's between Newcs, Sunds and Norwich for the final two spots in the fast elevator down into the championship ... 1 point in it and Newcs have a crucial game in hand ... unless one of them goes on an extraordinary run to catch Swans and Palace, but you've got to say an overall gain of 8/9 points for these teams (or overall loss of 8/9 for the ones above depending on how you look at it) is not gonna happen

 

They should certainly aim to catch Palace but they don't need to

i agree with the sentiments about the newkie board( sorry dont like ashley!) but the fans deserve better.

give him time he will get you back to the days when you had asprilla etc and was a joy to watch.

You have to accept that ex managers have to make a living. I would like him to succeed as I think he is a top bloke and would love him to have managed us under owners who had the club at heart. Thought he did a fantastic job for us in the circumstances and with the two cowboys in charge. However if he succeeds in keeping Newcastle up part of me will hate the fact he has because Ashley, who is only interested in lining his own pockets and appears to be on a par with Robert Maxwell, will remain there and take even more money out of the club. He is basically doing to Newcastle what the Oystons have done to Blackpool, but on a bigger scale

 

I can accept he has to make a living, of course, but there are other jobs. He could have been a boot boy at Anfield

 

i think he is still too young(manager wise) to accept anything other than being manager though sadly.
