    <cheers>

Lots of bizarre sights are likely to be seen at the Valley on Sunday afternoon, and I am not just talking about Simon Makienok's attempts to control a football. The funeral procession at 2.45pm from outside the Lib, the alleged pitch invasion on 60 mins, the mass walk out on 74 mins, and then the mass car park protest.

It promises to be a great afternoon <cheers>

As for Boro, as Super can testify from a Boro fan that we both know, they have bet the lot on going up this season, and the strains are beginning to tell. There are stories in the nationals today of a major fall out between the Boro players and manager Aitor Karanka yesterday, and rumours that the Spaniard is poised to quit. Not that it will be of much help to us, with the likes of Stewart Downing, Kike and David Nugent anticipating a profitable afternoon.

Is there any hope for us? In short, "no". That horrible, negative sideways football will only grace the Championship for 6 more weeks before we begin our extended vacation in the old Division 3.

Its all about the protests now, and the fan's ramping the pressure up.

    Prediction for the match?

Sue Parkes gets in for free again.

I've got my Johnny Cash clothes ready for the funeral procession. Pitch invasion? Not my thing, too unpredictable, but good luck with it. The walk-out and demo could be very good IF it is well supported, could be a damp squib if not.
If 'Boro really are in a state of turmoil there could be a huge shock on the cards, ie we only lose 0-1.

.........who by a strange coincidence only started scoring against us when we got rid of Morro, who was not deemed good enough by Millwall Bob.

Boro will probably play as a liberated side tomorrow. This Karanka thing has seemingly been boiling for weeks, with Gibson refusing to sake him due to a pay off (though you question why he sanctioned the £9M deal for Rhodes).

    I'm going 1-3.

A side note - I need to get an extra ticket for tomorrow and contacted the club by Twitter, Facebook and lastly email. Nothing. Luckily a fan was on hand to say he spoke with them to confirm the ticket office is open tomorrow..

Predictions: I'll probably go home and have a glass of whiskey and touch myself... To Taylor Swift pictures... because I'm going to need something good to pick me up after a 0-6 tonking.

So who's doing what today in term of the protests?

I'm personally not bothering with the "funeral". Imagine I'll walk out, though having a couple of guests doesn't guarantee it.

I can't see the 60th min protest occurring.

I'll be doing the funeral and the walkout, and whatever happens during the match except the walkout. Card may not exactly be flavour of the month on this forum, but I'll be supporting them today.

I'll be there in time for the wake.

I'll walk out if the game is clearly over at 74 minutes. I'm loathe to do so if not.

I'm doing the walkout and the funeral... And she's alright looking. Way better than Rosie O'Donnell. Or Baroness Thatcher. I have some standards.

Thing is with the walkout, can watch the match on SkyGo when I leave.

I was there for the funeral and deliberately sat behind the goal in the Lower North today for any other action.

Fair play to the 2 guys who went on the pitch, but why did they choose to go on when we scored?

Walked out on 74 min. Have just seen the highlights on Sky, and the stadium looked impressively empty.

Attended the demo after - disappointing numbers, and fans turning on each other at full time when the West Stand Wallies came out.

I was very impressed by the coffin, a really professional piece of work, and the procession was good too. I wonder how the protests came over on Sky? I really enjoyed myself more than I have at The Valley for ages.

The procession was good, and looked visually impressive as we marched down Floyd Road.

The only downer was seeing Ben Hayes pushing to the front of the procession, grabbing the banner, and bursting with smugness out of that cardigan thing he first wore in 1979 <doh>

The pitch invasion thing was a distraction which [predictably] failed to catch fire, and the beach balls and whistles were typically CARD-Like.

Watching the highlights on Sky, it is truly amazing at just how empty the stadium looked when CH scored the 2nd. Meire should be ashamed.

today was the best atmosphere at the valley since the anus bought us. meire could have easily had us onside, but chose a different route.

the protests all went perfectly in that there's been global coverage of it all.
