I’ve just opened a large new car park behind St Stephen’s, 300 spaces, bordering Colonial, Portland and Spring Street. We’ve deliberately gone out to provide people what they want quality cheap city centre parking. As a City fan I’ve put in place a 5 hour tariff for 1.90 that means you can watch the game and get back with plenty of time.

If you’re from the North of East side of the City it might be worth checking us out, 10/15 minute walk down Londesborough Street over the bridge and you’re at the ground. Access out of the site is quick and will avoid any congestion.

All day parking is 2.40 on a Saturday.

    Would welcome your support.

    UTT!!!!

Will you accept responsibility for vehicles and their contents parked in the car park?

I find it a bit crappy that pretty much every car park says they don't. I mean, what else are we paying for. I noticed you referred to it as quality parking so I hope you're the exception to the rule otherwise how is it more quality than any other?

    Good price mind.

I park 10 minutes walk from the ground and don't pay a penny. Never have. Never will.

I don't believe in charging fans to park when they're going to a football match, it's discriminatory and we already have to pay for a ticket.

Wardens slapping parking tickets on cars parked off Londesbourgh Street today. Is having your front tyre on a double yellow line down a dead end street really a fining offence or just petty mindedness ?

    It's really a fining offence.

Instead of whinging about rules and laws you're well aware of, perhaps you should learn how to park.

I was parked up on prinny ave, all day, in a private car park for £2 clever ****. The car I saw with a parking ticket on, along with others, was one in which a disabled lad in wheelchair, going to the game, was seen getting out of.

I take pity then. Outrageous that the disabled can't get away with breaking the law, wouldn't you say?

It is the rules. Mind you everyday outside my local police station you used to see police vans overhanging the parking bay and their front end over the double yellows.I think someone took photos and complained after they were fined for something similar but the police vans and cars were ignored as suddenly the parking areas was extended by about 4 feet.

If the poor lad was in a wheelchair then his parents should have had a blue badge. You are OK on double yellows for 3 hours with a blue badge as long as it is not a loading area with 2 short lines on the kerb. If it was someone else's car you can still use the blue badge. To be fair to the warden they have people spying on them to make sure they apply the rules.

So you want a car park cheaper than elsewhere, less than half the cost of parking on the potholed mess of .Walton Street and easier to get out if, and have guards patrolling it as well? What do you think the cost of it would be if they had to have insurance covering damage and theft of stuff people were daft enough to leave in their cars? Not to mention the dodgy claims which would be going in.

I wasn't being all that serious, but I just think it's a bit **** that you pay someone to not look after your car.

All out of towners, especially the ER lot, should be made to use park and ride. FACT

You pay to park it, not for guarding it. What would happen on a multi storey one? Guards walking around on each floor? How much do you think all that would cost? You presumably park in the street without worrying about guards but you are just as liable to have it damaged or things stolen from it there whether parking free or on a meter.
They do have a system if guarding your car in Liverpool at football matched. You psy done snotty little kid £5 and that at east ensures him and his mates don't do your car.

Don't drive into the ER, or drive over ou bridge, Chazz in your efforts to experience culture, fresh air and scenery, in your rickety old banger.
