Not sure about him at all. Disruptive influence by all accounts.

Agree, I'd sooner someone who hasn't tried and failed already at Prem level but we're constrained by our budget. Oh well we'll see what happens. Could be another load of bs

Agreed. Brendan wouldn't chase a player if he thought he wouldn't fit in with the squad. He's got pace, and has scored goals. I'd rather have him for back up for Graham than our existing strikers.

    Hmm...

Ok heres my tuppence worth. Lita is a player with undoubted technique, and I think he'd certainly fit in with our style. I haven't checked but a friend told me in an email he got 7 goals as a backup striker for Reading in the Premiership, which isn't bad. I remember him as a player who can take a touch, shoot with both feet, and one who makes intelligent runs.

A lot has been said about his attitude, but who really knows? Everyone has personality clashes with someone, the trick is finding a group of players who all get on. We've got a team with no prima donnas, so who would there be for him to clash with?! Maybe Nathan Dyer would take the piss out of him, but he'd soon be humbled into being part of a competetive group...and so what if he didn't? I doubt we're paying stupid money for him, and we won't break the wage structure, so if he really is a dickhead (which I do doubt a little to be honest...) we can just loan him out and because he won't be earning megabucks we should be able to find a Championship club to loan him to happy to cover said wages.

For the money, I think he could be a decent, possibly good signing. He's definitely got goals in him, so let's see if he's prepared to work for them.

He never really failed as a premier league striker. Just found the opta stats for him that season as he was highlighted by Sky as a player who left that years UEFA under 21's championship with an enhanced reputation lol (http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11673_2492784,00.html )

33 league games, 7 goals when Reading finished mid table. He had 2005 out of a possible 2970 minutes on the pitch, excluding the mins for the 5 games he didnt feature and a conversion rate of 15%. All that suggests he may not have started/or completed 90 loads but he played his fair share and did ok for himself. I for one will be more than happy if we get him to support Graham (as sub or second striker) and he bags 7 goals this season (with Graham bagging 13-15 of course lol)

I won't rely on this bit of speculation, according to the BBC no personal terms have been discussed, which means that there is a very good chance it won't happen, this is the same news channel saying we have agreed a transfer fee for Routledge !

The only place to get cosher info is the club site, or press releases directly from the club

As far as goals go, I think Lita has more in him than Emnes. I don't think we should spend the amount of money that would be necessary to acquire both, and of the two I think I would slightly prefer Lita as he's played in the Premiership before.

I know that we can't necessarily believe anything that is written or said in the media unless it is on the club's own website, but Sky Sports were reporting last night that the Swans were poised to win the race to sign Routledge. If there is any grain of truth in that, then that could explain why there has been no firm movement for Emnes.

not heard that saying before, thought it was a strange choice of words though given who you are discussing. Yes I have looked up what it means as well.

At the risk of being negative and coming across as a WUM, I am not sure Lita is going to be good enough.
He is not a bad player or indeed not a bad finisher but he has become what seems like a journeyman over the years.
Does not seem to settle wherever he goes but he will score goals, just not sure he will get enough at the top level.

CityArse: Don't you realise that nobody here gives a rat's what you think now toddle off and contemplate watching Parkin this coming season. ;)

Not much positivity here, but Lita doesn't really endear himself to fans or fellow players does he? I trust in Rodgers for sure, but I still maintain that our back line needs some work. Any one of our 1st choice back 4 gets injured and we're in real trouble imo. History shows that you can have lots of flair and bags of goals in your side but if you can't defend in the Prem you will get mullered every week. Just an opinion.

**** off Aussie you inbred twat, Are you finished embarssing yourself with your pointless one liners on the Cardiff board, as usual nothing you have nothing original to say. We all had a few months grace before you showed up on here which was pleasant, we all got to discuss what a useless prick you were without you interupting.

That Aussie guy didn't make the trip over so I'm told so dunno what you're on about. But just so we're clear:

"not heard that saying before, thought it was a strange choice of words though given who you are discussing. Yes I have looked up what it means as well. "

That is contributing is it? Nothing about Lita at all. Good to see you're still taking an interest in us though. Neck muscles must be buggered by know - you ain't stopped looking up since May 30th!:1980_boogie_down: I can recommend a good chiropractor - or maybe a proctologist in your case.

Got one thing in common with dear departed Oz though - we both clearly get on your wick - which is great. :)

You just keep denying it if it makes you feel better, I dont blame you though because your a prick and if I were you I would try and hide behind a different username too because he (you) is a prick.

You gave yourself away in another thread which I was not involved in but was observing where you brought up something in particular I said to you (Aussie Jack) on the old 606, so nice try **** wit but me and the rest of the Cardiff board know who you are. Im glad to see that even you acknowledge what a dick you are that you try and hide it.
