I thought everyone listened to one fan on here, my brother told meSo you think that LJ as listened to the fans, what a load of crap that is, if he did, then he's not going to be the manager I hope he is going to be.

Looks a good signing, whether it turns out to be or not will test on 2 things
1. His match fitness, we can't afford him to take a month.
2. His ego, we have all read the reports of him at previous clubs....
Do you honestly believe that LJ did not know that we needed a striker, just as if he only got one because the fans said so...It's funny then, how the general topic of conversation on here (and other sites) is reacted to a day or 2 after each game.
Take this signing for example, early part of the week, we heard talk about midfield and defence, no real focus on attack. Then, after Tuesday, everyone was saying how we need a quality striker if we are going to stay up and hey presto...!!!
It's not just this though, take a look back at the after match tweets (where we lost) over the last few weeks and see for yourself...
He was referring to a midfielder due to the injury of Korey Smith I think. It's funny then, how the general topic of conversation on here (and other sites) is reacted to a day or 2 after each game.

Spot on. We cant afford to have him as a passenger...
I wouldnt worry about his ego. I didnt see any problems with his attitude on Cardiff and he always came across as a decent guy.
Problem with us we were a poor PL team and at 31 Odemwingie had seen better days. He was still decent but struggled in a struggling team. He did better at Stoke with better players. I think the Kenwynne Jones swap probably was the right decision for both clubs.
I dont think you are in danger of relegation so I dont really see the need to sign him as a 34 year old Odemwingie coming back from a bad injury again in astruggling team could be a replica of what he was with us in the PL. Some good moments , some goals but a lot of going looking for the ball being out of position losing it and putting the team under pressure. I cant see him just hanging in the box waiting for a ball thats not going to come. He will go looking for it unless his legs have gone. His attitude will be fine though as far as effort is concerned. Whether he listens to team instructions im not sure if those are to hang about up top. If you now have him i wouldnt play him there either. Bit of a waste really.
I said when you signed Matthews id have him back at Cardiff and think we should try to buy him this summer.
We need a striker. I wouldnt have wanted Odemwingie back. Not for his attitude just that I dont think hed be good enough.
He will be at a completely different level to Wilbrahim though.

don't know about that, likely get 4 or 5seriously, i can see him getting a hat full - Ode that is
first half yesterday was one of the poorest ive seen all season, maybe since them at home! talk about a game of two halves cliche, but when Ode and Reid came on we looked much better, we kept possession better, passed the ball better but mostly we battled and closed down better.
Got to be one of my best away days ever , scenes at Tommo's winner and at final whistle will live with me forever, real goose pimple stuff! and yes the stand was bouncing literally beneath our feet.
Exactly.Spot on. We cant afford to have him as a passenger...
Exactly.
Stern John anyone? 19 goals for relegated Southampton one minute, crap for us the next........
Can you back it up with stats pleaseThere is precisely ZERO% comparison between Stern John and Peter Odemwingie....

Can you back it up with stats please![]()

80% ummmmm played a half, nearly scored? for them! very generous ....Stern John = 100% not good
Peter Odemwingie = 80% very good
