    Narrow win for Athletic tonight. Hopefully they can repeat their 3-0 victory of a few weeks ago in the return leg. Vamos Athletic. The only team in the competition that nurtures local talent from a population of about 2.5 million which is quite a small base. The others left recruit from all over the world.

    Just heard that MP rested 7 players for this very important game. Tough on the travelling fans. Saving his team for the weekend I assume and targeting the PL title. Hope he loses now (mind you, I would have hoped he lost anyway :)).
