By no means are we or Palace safe , but certainly safer than the bottom 4 .

He's a very good manager and Newcastle actually have some pretty decent players in some positions.
He'll be looking for quite a clearout in the summer if they stay up, though.
The defence isn't good enough, almost across the board.

I'm not sure. It's starting to get tight and I'm worried we've left it too late. If we don't beat Leicester on Monday and Man City beat Norwich then it is mathematically impossible for us to finish top four and we'll have to settle for the Europa. Makes Monday night's game a must win for us so that we keep the pressure on Man City.

Leicester suddenly have a tricky game on their hands.

  10. Too right, Lee. Those boys are going to be fighting like warriors to impress the waiter. If nothing else, Leicester can expect some injuries to key players.

I'd rather have them at home now when the effects of McClaren reign is still evident than away later in the season when he's had a chance to improve them.

Interestingly , Rafa was Shelvey's manager .......for a month .
Wonder if Rafa had anything to do with Shelvey coming to Liverpool , but Rafa was gone soon after Shelvey's arrival .

  14. Shelvey was a Dalglish signing, Rafa was already on the way out when it happened too.

However, Shelvey will suit Rafa's style imo

  17. I think we can all agree that the waiter is more likely to get you out of the mire than was the wally.

Hes not going to click his fingers and turn that defence into world beaters.

We don't need to rely on Vardy scoring, we're just gunna pass it to Taylor <ok>

  19. Oh, I'm sure that Leicester will have chances against the Toon, that's not in doubt.

What's going to be more interesting is whether the Toon will create and take their own chances?
