    If we win this I will buy a pair of yellow chinos and..actually.. wear them outside..thereby setting all the dogs off on a barking frenzy in a 2 mile radius, and upsetting small children and those of a nervous disposition <ok>

    My forecast has changed.

    Toon to start off well (I can dream, can't I?) and get a four goal lead at half time. Charnley will arrive at the ground out of breath and then will burst into the dressing room at half time to fire McClaren.

    The team collapses in the second half and loses 5-4. The team bus leaves and Charnley is made to walk home as McClaren has nicked his car keys.

    A fine and fair offer for some slightly soiled trews ( I assume the Chelsea 5-1 chinos are beyond repair,cleaning or salvage?)
    ..but me mam, warned me never to accept offers from strange men in trousers ..or was it men in strange trousers?

    Gutted you've sacked McClaren. We always beat his Derby side by a good margin and we carried that one when we played you at SJP.

    Think it'll be a bit more of a cagey affair, depending on when the first goal is scored. A repeat of last years fixture would be marvellous. Took an early lead and never looked back.

    All the best after monday though chaps. Really wouldn't like to see you drop, even if your club could probably do with a restart.

    At last, he's gone and hopefully our season starts from now. 10 of the most important games in our history and hopefully we enjoy the kick start most new managers get. ( 80% of new managers have achieved an unbeaten start to their careers so hoping for a draw on Monday and the wupping of the Mackems the following Sunday

    I've gotta say, I'm absolutely done. It's exhausting, i'm not calling for a manager again and I'm not calling for the MD again, he's done what he can. To be the lowest paid in the PL and pull this off is an astonishing thing for him.
