So its Whisper films who will have a lot to do with coverage, and it seems like Coulthard will be on screen. Humphrey co-owns Whisper, and could contractually present, but is that confirmed yet?
No Perry.. shame.. DC, fair enough.. Not EJ.. he'll be busy with Top Gear.. So, who is likely to be make up the group of presenters..
Im assuming Jake will be an anchor in the UK for highlighted races, will minimise his loss to BT given the less rigorous scheduling.
The full team has been announced. It will be hosted by Steve Jones. Ben Edwards and DC remain as commentators. Apparently they will have a rotating cast of pundits and others doing "special features" including; Eddie Jordan (Pundit, "some live races") Mark Webber (Pundit, "all live races") Alain Prost ( Pundit, "a few races") Bruno Senna ( "special features") Susie Wolff ( Pundit, "many of the live races", "special features") Jolyon Palmer (as a writer) Lee Mckenzie ( Interviewer, Same role as the BBC) Karun Chandhok (Pit lane ted kravitz like role, "technical expert") and Murray Walker (Away from races interviewer) http://www.channel4.com/programmes/formula-1/profiles/channel-4-team/ Edit: Nick Hamilton (Lewis's Brother) also seems to be involved in some way but doesn't have a profile at the moment.
Not a bad lineup really, bit of all sorts and no one who'll make you want to bang your head on the desk.
Decent. All pretty humble and people i'd like to listen to. Unlike Simon Lesbian and David Crapft on Sky.
I swore, loudly and vehemenently for five minutes, if he's in the actual commentary team I'll watch it in Spanish or French, I could do with the linguistic practice as I've gone a bit rusty on both
Looks like decent length time slots for 'highlights'. Fingers crossed they will do a good job, presenting team looks good but maybe too many people changing race by race but maybe they will be able to choose the best line up?
