The longer this goes on, I have the feeling it might turn out horribly. I still can`t get rid of the thought, "why does he want to come here?". If that happens then God Help Penfold and co. We are a laughing stock yet again. Just when you think there is no lower the club can sink, they find another level of ineptitude. Its ****ing Friday now and STILL nothing has happened. WTF What a bunch of COCKS.!!!
He will turn us down and then Carver will ride to our rescue. Is that picture a water fountain in Pennywell?
I fully expect this to turn to sh!t and we'll have the dream team of Pedro and Cathro taking us down. It'll all be too little too late - they won't even sack Charnley til August.
I would love to know what Benitez is thinking about this whole thing. Is he not bothered and cant wait to start, or is he thinking we are a ****ing joke!
What if he comes in and nothing happens? The players play the same as they did for McClown and you lose the next 4? Then what? Think that's a scarier thought! It's what has gone through my head every time we've got rid of a manager over the last few years! Luckily we've done it then played you lot and won! Might be the boot on the other foot (hope not)
Always that risk with any manager, personally preferred Moyes due the fact that he got Everton or one two relegation dogfights, even if they weren't as difficult as the position Newcastle are currently in. Does worry me that Rafa's not used to being at the bottom, next 8 weeks or going to be his toughest here.
