If Mc had any decency he would have walked because a) he ain't upto the job and b) he's lost the fans and c) the club are clearly trying to replace him... but no he stays and why.. so he can get some compensation

Nah, if it was me I'd do the same. Obvious that Ashley wants that reaction to save a few quid. What hurts Ashley most is losing money, so if I was in McClaren's position I'd hang on as long as possible to ensure Ashley had to pay up.

 

In the real world yes I wouldn't walk and get as much as I can because I've got a house and kids to look after, but mc must have enough in the bank to not worry about that. If I was in his position I would walk because it would be my pride and reputation that was being damaged not my bank balance

 

Or Ashley's, if you look at it from a different perspective.
