Turned the table on us with a new manager just before the Derby. This ****er could hurt us in more ways then one. 1. beat us in the Derby 2. kick start there season and relegate us along with Norwich? Got a worried look on my face now.
or conversely have the same effect as Garde at Villa following Sherwood's departure and have no visible positive impact whatsoever? We'll be where we deserve to be after 38 games - hopefully still in the prem.
Could be huge, could be a farce, looking at their track record of ****ing things up, it's hard to see a fairytale ending either way.
please log in to view this image Lee Ryder lee_ryder #nufc saying Steve McClaren has NOT been sacked yet. Nothing about his departure yet from the club.
Seems like Mclaren will be in charge for at least one more game, which means that the new manager (if it happens) 1st game will be against us. It is the 2nd game in charge that our new managers have always won (which happens to be against the Mags), we have always lost on the new managers 1st game. (in recent history)
To be fair to Sky they never said he's been sacked, they said he will be sacked. I would expect this to be no surprise to SM, he's gonna get a decent chunk from his pay-off and a few days extra graft in the media spotlight being made to look a prat won't stop him laughing his way to the bank.
News reports about Rafa Benitez 3 year contract and then below it 'McClaren not yet been sacked'. Its a soap opera, a sh!t one at that!
I would think he wouldn't fancy taking over if the first game is away at Liecester, maybe also not with the game against us. Perhaps after those 2 games are out of the way he might take over.
