The winner stays up. So based on that, I hope you all enjoy the Championship next season ;)

The BBC Website reporting 7 minutes ago that Tufty is staying in charge at Newcastle and will be taking training tomorrow ahead of their game at Leicester. Now that could be really good news, especially if Leicester put them to the sword on Monday.

The way Leicester are playing that`s always a possibility.

The way things are GD can make all the difference. The last thing they need is a real hiding. Getting beat by 2 or 3 effectively gives us another point.

no idea who Sam is gonna pick. He knows how massive a game it is for Sunderland and himself.
I could imagine he wants nothing more than a win to prove how wrong the filth were to get rid of him and shut up the boo boys who hounded him out.

Catts. Borini and Defoe MUST start.

    Rodwell must NOT.

Dont like the idea that we are yet to win a game that he has started.

Catts will be well up for a derby game.

I understand the sentiment but being up for it doesn't necessarily translate to what we need on the pitch. We'll beat the Newcastle players on passion with or without Catts. It's tactics, ability and doing the right thing on the pitch that needs the focus. Midfield and attacking line choice will interesting. Is Larson back in contention? Sam may want to accommodate him but I guess he'll be a sub if fit.
