I would have thought being with your wife at a time like that was the thing to do, not clubbing it and snorting coke. I know very well what depression can do. Someone I knew had suffered with it from his schooldays. At age 50 with a lovely wife and 2 kids and having sold a half share in his business for over £3million he killed himself. Depression is a long term thing not brought on by a single event.
I am sure depression isn't something you get from a single event and feel better and well enough to carry on as normal in a short time after clubbing and snorting coke. Depression tends to occur for no discernible reason.
She didn't mention it for 10 years because she doesn't need the drug. She has a family history of diabetes! Smells like bullhit to me. No Dr would prescribe a 20 year old that drug for 10 years that is only available in eastern a European countries based on that criteria. The drug will not prevent diabetes. She knows it. We know it. Like Lance she is done.
I've got major depressive disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder and anxiety. I was diagnosed with all three when I was 15 and have been on anti-depressants since then, I'm now 19. Whilst I understand where you are coming from, and I do sympathise with Livermore for his tragic loss, rules are rules and he broke them. I think people are forgetting how lucky Livermore is to still be playing football right now as the FA could have easily banned him for a couple of years and I don't think many of us would be shocked or felt hard done by if they did do that. On another note, I personally don't take an issue with drug use (be a bit hypocritical if I did) but he knew full well cocaine was a banned substance in football and did it anyway.
Anyone with a clear and full understanding of their life and situation, would find it hard to disagree.
No. You sound racist as well as sexist. The FDA don't approve many safe drugs, a lot of times based on where the R&D was carried out.
Racist! stop being daft. Why would a young fit 18 year old athlete want to take a drug that increases the red blood cells that isn't licenced in the country you have lived in for years and never mention it until it appears the banned list. Nothing dodgy here. Move on. Neither racist nor sexist. I assume there are many robust clinical trials to back up its efficacy.
I'm sure there are but because they're from Eastern Europe they must be dodgy. You've been kicking around on here for a few years now & never mentioned what drugs you're on. Why not? No need to answer, it's because it's got **** all to do with anybody else.
I never said because it's from eastern Europe it must be dodgy at all. I pointed out she hasn't lived there for years and isn't approved by the FDA. Hardly racist. I'm not an elite athlete who is regularly drugs tested for banned substances and have to comply with rules to declare what prescribed drugs I'm taking and for what. Unless they don't want the authorities to know about it for some reason. Tamoxifen btw.
Is she the only elite athlete not to let you know? It's only been banned for 2 & a bit months. If there'd previously been a problem with her not declaring which prescribed drugs she had been taking I'm sure it would have surfaced.
You asked why I'd never mentioned which prescribed drugs I'm on. Because I'm not an elite athlete who is subject to different rules to the rest of us. She has to let the regulatory bodies know not me. She didn't. It's only been banned recently but a drug that was intended for short term use for ischaemic heart disease was prescribed to an 18 year old elite athlete for 10 years and has been on the radar for a while as the drug of choice to increase red blood cells for top athletes as they keep banning the ones they use to try and gain an advantage over others. Lance said everyone was doing it so he was gonna do it better. Not a defence that worked out for him. As she didn't declare it I don't know how they would have known about it.
Did she say she'd taken it continually for 10 years? It's nothing like Armstrong. I told you not to bother answering as it's none of my business in the same way that what Sharapova took legally is none of yours. I'm sure you'll carry on making more **** up to suit your aims. You've gone a couple if posts now without mentioning it's only available in Eastern Europe. It'll blow over soon & you can get back to your man hating sexism.
