It seems that a consensus may be required for this, after the recent posts/responses to me having received the money now.

This might be a load of bollocks to some, but opinions are divided about the final part of this journey :emoticon-0126-nerd:

    What should we do

Remember that, no matter how we do it, it's for a very worthwhile cause and the whole Sunderland board should be proud of what we're doing :emoticon-0100-smile

Not voting as I didnt donate so I my opinion shouldnt sway the final decision

IMO: A cheque would have the associations name on, not her's ? if so, then just hand in a cheque. no need for us to get any publicity out of it, as I presume that wasnt the initial point of the donations ?

Orrrr, option 5, give her the donation face to face and tell her she's a dirty skank.

This would include a freshly laid ****, which should be carefully manipulated around her car door handles.

Gordon has to do this, including the **** rubbing, including laying the ****, all parts.

I wonder how this will affect the attitude of the man hater.

I find it somewhat ironic that after the vitriol hurled at the club lt`s a woman who`s forced to resign.

Seems to me nobody`s bothered to ask Gordons opinion on this & he`s the bloke who`s got it to do.

    @Gordon Armstrong

You`re the one who remembered about this and actually did something about it.

Seeing as how you`ve got the money and have ended up at the sharp end of this, what do you think is the best way for you to deal with it? Which would suit you?

note: giving it to some bugger else is not an option.

Option 3 is my choice, which seems to be the consensus so far, but we've only had 12 responses so far, even though that might be 'it' :emoticon-0100-smile

If that's what's decided I'd like a couple of local/good looking posers to help with the presentation, though (I don't want to do it myself) :emoticon-0135-makeu . . . . there's nee harm in having a bit of good publicity for this sort of thing :emoticon-0145-shake

I plan to ring my contact at The Echo to see what she thinks about the merits of having this publicity (the lass that's been covering that trial) but I need confirmation that this is the way to do it first <cheers>

I've gone for option 3, get the Echo involved or maybe even Sun FM? but as you said, the important thing is to give her the money so whatever is easier i suppose.

I have always thought whatever I give to charity is completely selfless with no motivating factor. With that in mind, I'm not in favour of drawing any attention to a deal that we will have to say "We raised this money for them for Christmas but Sid's had it in his account for two months", nobody needs to know that ****.

I'd go in with a cheque, wish them all the best for 2016 and walk away hoping it made a difference to even one person's life, which was the intention from day zip.

Part of my reasoning is to show that we've (I've) actually handed over the dosh . . . . I've always done this after my annual charity bike rides :emoticon-0105-wink:

To me, it seems a little bit 'look what we did', and I'm not that sort of giver, but that's why it's been put to a vote.

I'd just like to declare myself out of any acknowledgement, I donated purely to change somebody's Xmas and as it's unfolded into a complete farce, I don't want my splendidly good name associated with it.
