Odubajo - the only one on our side who threatened their defence Maguire - solid at the back and a threat on our corners Elmohamedy - won every ball over Gibbs in the air...good on defence
Maguire Huddlestone Powell Someone else said it about Huddlestone, the game is 90 minutes and he faded, but he did a good job in difficult circumstances. Harry just gets better, I love the way he looks to attack from defence
1. Powell - our main threat going forwards, I like the way he drifts past players with seemingly little effort. And he rocks a bandage. 2. Davies - defensive strength personified, some excellent tackles on Giroud and Walcott. 3. Huddlestone - enjoyed the space he was given and played some fine passes. Should get booed every match by the away fans. Jesus, that Gabriel is a crock of ****. A centre back that refuses to head it.
From the east stand in 7, 1 Moses by a country mile, My lad was very impressed. 2 Harry, that boy is a real talent, Great feet and picked out Moses every time with a great cross 3 hudds,Davis, elmo, one of those. Last ten mins of the first half was when they looked shaky, score then and it would of been a different game, myler was shocking.... Oh!! And apparently I was on telly...
Odubajo Diomande - really held the ball win and won practically every aerial ball launched his way. Shame Aluko is ****e and was nowhere near him for most of them to build an attack. Huddlestone
He did surprisingly well in the air, in an Aaron Mclean way. He got his head to things with no direction or purpose. Just headed it. He's very pleased to be here, thats about it. Odubajo. Maguire Davies. Dont get the Huddlestone love in. We all know he's got a terrific touch but meh. Always looking to play it backwards
1 Hudd - doesn't look out of place against a prem team when in a 3 man midfield 2 Dave - out of position, worked his balls off and attacked on the left 3 Maguire - he really needs to be starting, shame for him Davies and Dawson are also in good form.
Maguire - for me by a country distance Dave - never stopped running, until he got hauled off ! Powell - kid looks to have all the skill in the world and held the ball well, needs to develop his decision making.
Anthony Gardner was like that. I hope you're proven wrong but that description made me laugh both at the memory of McLean and at the first impression of Diomande.
Maguire, if we don't make it to the promise land we might find it hard to hang on to him. Odubajo, another one who's get better as the season goes on just needs to work on his final delivery Huddlestone, enjoyed the space more like the hudd of old.
