Although I'm as frustrated as hell with the lack of transfer activity, I can only hope we can show the bookies that they're wrong. At the moment we are backed to be 11th with teams like Ipswich, Cardiff, Blackpool, Southampton and Middlesbro above us, with fester, ammers and the trees top 3. We're not going to spend any decent cash, so we'll be looking at loans and freebies again, and thats it.

BUT if we can play as a team and link together well and show plenty of spirit, we should be able to uset a few of the more fancied sides. This I'm afraid is our only chance of doing something, we need to be another Wimbledon a team of grafters who all played for each other, without any superstars. To be fair we have a couple of match winners anyway, and if Clayton, Lees and Nunez turn up, I'm sure we can do some damage.

Yes I'm underwhelmed with our lack of ambition, but if Grayson can get a good team spirit and get them at it, I'm sure we can upset the bookies

Just cause we haven't thrown money about, doesn't mean we don't have ambition. It's about improving the squad that finished 7th, and bringing in the right players.

We've got defensive midfielder with loads of experience in Brown, a problem position for us. 2 all round keepers, who seem more reliable than Kasper. And Kisnorbo and even Ben Parker will be like a new signing, and Clayton, Lees and Nunez are all unknown really and could be players to watch out for.

We already have one of the best attacks in Gradel, Snodgrass and Becchio, with players like Sam, Nunez, McCormack and Aidy White providing good competition.

Mark, you attack me for criticising Grayson, yet he ignored a player who you think is amazing and will tear the league apart!

clive, why cant you understand that just because you may not necessarily agree with something a manager does, you can think they are a good manager. His opinion may not be right

Clive, the thing about football is that it is a game of opinion, everyone's got different opinions and the manager cant play every single player the fans want him to play, main reason being is because, now no offense to anyone except clive, most fans are ****ing idiots that dont know what they are doing including you. So it does not mean you are a bad manager if they play a different system/team/player to what YOU would like. Get that through your ****ing small brain

stop arguing with him Josh. In an argument with Clivetime, nobody wins. He thinks he's won, because people give up and he never backs down, but he doesn't feel like he's won because noone ever listens to him, and he hasn't won. He gets that feeling of being lost and alone at the pit of his stomach as noone ever listens to him. He feels isolated from society. Bottom line, he never wins arguments.

Now, do not misunderstand me. Whoever is arguing with him doesn't win either... they just feel drained from metaphorically braining themself on a brick wall for sometimes several hours at a time, as well as having to put up with the same repetitive drivel, over and over again.

He is an energy sucking leach and a detriment to the not606 community. I've asked for him to be banned but A) donald can't ban as he is just a mod and B) the rules on this place are very relaxed. Unfortunately, Clivetime is the price you pay to have true freedom on a message board and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Also, if you ignore him then I don't run the risk of going postal. I was feeling quite relaxed after I first put him on ignore, but now seeing other people get sucked in by his drivel is stressing me out. It's a good job Clivetime clearly never goes to games because if I met him I'd headbutt him so hard he'd be able to taste my forehead for the rest of his life.
