I was definitely referring to Adam Pearson. Dowie was just one of many mistakes he's made since his glorious return.
No I've never posted on CI. Nothing to do with being deluded, I just simply looked at the decisions and actions AP has taken since he returned and have come to the conclusion he's not doing a very good job.
I think Ten Foot would sign up as Ten Foot, but I can see where you're coming from, I'm surprised he hasn't signed up elsewhere since his ban. On the topic of CI, I see it's down again, in fact it's down more than it's up nowadays.
Pick up the phone and ring the number 0870 8370003 the fact that someone answers who isnt working for pricewaterhousecoopers tells me that he is doing a bloody fine job.
He saved us from the threat of administration... but it was a threat he created, in his own words we'd have been Ok if we stayed in the Premier League, if that's your aim then why employ Iain Dowie? Look at the table and see we're in midtable mediocrity... that tells me he's not doing a good job. At all.
I think it has been said enough on every messageboard by now but its pretty common knowledge Bartlett orderd Browns sacking and Dowie was last choice. Yes brown should have had till the end of the season but even then we were still going to go down. and that last line shows how deluded you are. Have you ever heard of form? we are playing well and climbing up the league after having to rebuild nearly the full squad as Brown and Duffen filled the team with a bunch of overpaid mercenaries who cared nothing for Hull city.
I don't pay attention to "Inside information" that can't be sourced so no. We're climbing up the table but we're not playing well, in fact the football has been absolutely dire this season. I suppose the Man Utd kids really care about Hull City too, as well as the Tunisian international, I'm sure he's been a fan since birth. Not one of those players cares about Hull City as much as you or I do, not one. The only way to ensure that would be to play 11 kids from Hull every week, and that'd get us nowhere.
Oh no, Tony Warners Face has come over from Hull City Online. Expect an avalanche of anti Pearson(s) threads. By the way TWF, that's not a dig at you personally. More a heads up to some on here what to expect. I quite enjoyed reading the stuff on HCO, because you believe in your opinion. It's gonna get spicy!
Rumour on HDM site Ashbee has gone. Just looked on Sky Sports they are saying he may be going to Preston. Anyone any info.
That's simply not true, Ash has been the most committed player the club has ever had and he's a Brummy, Turner was totally committed, as was Elliot, Hunt and plenty of others with no connection to Hull other than the fact they signed for us, even a Man United player called Campbell was committed in his time with us. Obviously, if we had 11 Deano's/Barmby's we'd be laughing, but there's still plenty of players willing to put a shift in and they deserve to at least be seen in the shirt once before their commitment is questioned.
The footballs beind dire? What worse than about 40 games of brown trying to draw his way to saftey every game? And yes I believe the Man utd kids do want to be here, They arnt getting paid anymore here, are living away from there family and have chosen to be here. You dont go to the otherside of the country for no extra money for the fun of it, would you? compare that to the Cousins, Bullards, etc they were here for the wad nothing more.
If we had 11 Deano/Barmby's we'd be laughing in the UniBond league in a few year's time. I think you're confusing commitent with running around and kicking people, whilst I agree on Ashbee, Hunt is by far the most overrated player I've seen in a Tigers shirt, he's terrible but if he chases a lost cause or kicks out at somebody he gets lauded for it, same with Barmby this season. Campbell didn't want to come back though did he? The point I was making, was whilst some might be committed on the pitch (More of the PL team than people give credit), deep down they don't care as much as the fans. Ash would probably jump at the chance to play for Birmingham. I'm not saying that's a bad thing, though I do think it's very difficult to gauge somebody's "committment".
I was referring to Deano and Barmby when they were regulars rather than retired/semi-retired. You're ****ing hard to please, are you sure you wouldn't be happier supporting Man United?
We still wouldn't get far. No I'm a Hull City fan... I'm not hard to please, I'm just not going to listen to Adam Pearson and think "OMG it's Adam Pearson! He's definitely right! All hail St. Adam!", because I think he's done an absolutely ****ing terrible job since he's been back. I just wish he'd been chased off along with Bartlett, and he'd took his puppet Nigel with him. We won't get anywhere whilst these two clowns are still at the club.
I can see you making a lot of new friends on here, what with your easy going attitude and glass half half full sort of approach.
I'm sure they'll be people I agree/disagree with on all sorts of topics. I'm not going to change my opinions to fit in though, if that's what you're suggesting.
