The Daily Arsenal

Discussion in 'The Premier League' started by Hoddle is a god, Jul 17, 2015.

  1. I think the disappointment would have been that we didn't win to go top. It would have been the same reaction had we not been able to beat Stoke.

With the Gunners, it's different. That game matters.

Barcelona's team is not your team though is it....so you can't choose from their squad <ok>

The more I think about your attitude towards Hiag, the more I'm convinced you are this 'Rupert' guy you go on about.

  4. I've noticed that, too. It's like he's got a crush on me, in the same way that Pixie used to, back in the really dark days, just before his ban from our board.

  8. United also want Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. As the 26-year-old's fee could rise to £70m, Arsenal are likely to be out of contention. (Mail on Sunday)

    Ouch!

  9. Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is likely to be 'invited' to leave at the end of the season if the Gunners fail to beat Hull in their FA Cup replay in midweek, with former captain Patrick Vieira favourite to replace him.(Sunday Express)

    "Invited to leave" the club.

What an inglorious end that would be to Arsenal's greatest ever manager.

By the way, if Viera did become manager, what kind of expectations do you think would be placed on him? Obviously, if he's going to replace Wenger, the expectations would have to be that he will achieve what Wenger couldn't achieve, as well as matching all the things that Wenger did achieve.

So, surely, Veira would have to win the league, the FA Cup, the Milk Cup, and the CL.

Do you think that Viera is the man to do this for you?

I'm not so sure, lads. Expect to see him sacked by the Christmas, would be my message to you.
    <ok>

  12. They were already 0-1 up, you idiot!

Even though they are leading, the BBC commentator is practically falling asleep.

  14. Arsenal are expected to win this match. Any other result would be an abject failure on Wenger's part.

Looking at that Arsenal side, I now feel massively embarrassed that we couldn't finish you off. It just goes to show that your lot really did treat the NLD as your cup final.

This does not bode well for your chances against Barca. Gooners up and down the country must be utterly dreading that game, knowing that only humliation and ridicule await them.

Bla bla bla, why don't you just put a sock in it, you're so obsessed with Arsenal, did the club violate your anus or something? Did it hurt you more that you enjoyed the violation, and felt this really dreaded guilt?

  17. I feel your pain, IQ87, I really do.

You were one of the few who saw that Wenger was past it, many, many seasons ago; and you fought a lone campaign for a considerable time, trying to convince fellow Gooners that you were right. It must be quite gratifying for you to see that every Gooner on your board has completely changed his tune, done a 180, and now supports your call for Wenger to be got shot of. Fickle, yes most certainly, but at least they have finally seen the sense in getting rid of Arsenal's most successful manager ever and replacing him with someone who lacks even an ounce of Wenger's credentials.

You're having a pop at me, IQ87, but can't you see that I'm on your side? No one could wum the Gooner board better than you do; you are a hero in my eyes. Why, when I see you in full flow, coming out with the stuff that you do, I think to myelf, "This lad's the best wind-up merchant this site has ever seen! He's even better than you, HIAG!"

I take my hat off to you, IQ87!

Yes, you do come across as being extremely dense, but the advantage of that is that you are able to stick stubbornly to your wummery, no matter how reasonable are the arguments that are put up to knock you down. That takes a special kind of person. And you really are "special," IQ87.

Don't you dare listen to anyone who tells you to stop. You keep on going, my son! I am a real fan of your comedy. Don't ever make the laughter stop, promise me that.

As Arsenal go 0-4 up, HIAG walks into yet another wum **** up :)

  20. It just goes to show how dull Arsenal have become, that they can go 0-4 up and still bore the commentator senseless.
