Spot on mate, it comes in tons of different strains and each person will behave differently to each strain. Medicinally, the surface hasn't even been scratched, it has proven itself as a species to be very effective in some cases and completely ineffective in others. To throw a blanket over the word 'cannabis' is naive and dangerous.

There's no way the term 'cannabis is 100% safe' will ever be entertained.

Great point that, Which is why in many states in america you can go to a dispensary and say "i have never smoked and i dont want to be stoned but my back aches" and they will give you something (possible edible) with the strength clearly labelled, that way you can find what strain or strength best suits your needs, Here though you have to go see some **** street dealer who hasnt a ****ing clue what it is or how strong, and will probably be holding other drugs of the A class type, which he will offer to you eventually.

Who exactly is saying give it to adolescents? Surely that's a mute point like DUI.

Oh there was a press release. Just give to kids.

No one's saying give it to them Bri. And yet they get their hands on it.

Just to add, in many of the incidents I'm aware of over the last 20 years or so, they were already troubled kids. There's a cycle of self abuse that finds its form in many ways. Including severe abuse of drugs.

They get their hands on booze and that's already legal. Troubled kids aren't troubled kids because of drugs, they're troubled before they touch it. Weed sits in there with every other drug, legal or not. This is where mental health awareness falls short.

To be absolutely honest with you, for most kids who look under 18/21 can get a bag of weed quicker and easier than they can get a 6-pack. and from the same fella they get the weed they can probably get you whatever else you need too no problem.

Point is decriminalising it and controlling and taxing brings all this and more.

Not too mention the statistics coming out from countries like Portugal and the U.S. with dramatic drops in crime and enormous profits from tax, less stress on the prison system, police having more time to go after actual real criminals, its all there for anyone to look for and read.

I know. I wasn't in opposition to your post. Why do people always think I'm on the attack?

Wouldn't disagree with a word of that mate.

Its what I said earlier about how politicians legalise it. Sooner or later they'd have to deal with the very people they've been criminalising for years.

Its a truly horrendous gordian knot for them.

I wouldn't disagree that it needs to be legalised eventually. Its the how that matters.

They have enough examples to follow to do it easily, the main reason it wont be like that here for a long time still is pure business, you can just look at the pic i posted before to see why a lot of big industry have it in their interests that it stays that way for as long as possible.

perhaps as more countries follow portugal and the US and others and we see more and more positive statistics and medical papers, social results etc. public opinion will be enough to change things over her but im not holding my breath.

Have we delved into the crime that illegal drugs fund yet? Like sex slavery? I'd legalise the lot and I wouldn't dream of putting junk in my arm, doesn't mean I can't see the benefits of it being legal. Keeping drugs illegal will always do more damage than harm, It will always fund other crime, it will always be more dangerous to take and it will always cost the tax payers more money.
