Is destiny that bad? looked pretty good in the ads and have some colleagues playing it. Don't play it myself though. I've been a complete saddo and been reading up on the final fantasy games as when i played them i never really understood some of the stories fully
exactly. People who watch Lost, listen to Nickelback or play Destiny will end up in a special kind of hell, reserved for child molesters and people who use their phone in the cinema!
Its an MMO.....on a console.....thats alarm bell number 1. Its made by the same people who made Halo.....thats alarm bell number 2. Infact any FPS game on a console is an instant face palm. Playing an FPS with a control pad is like trying to eat a boiled egg with tooth pick.
Ah i see your point. Totally agree with that stance... nothing beats a mouse and keyboard. No idea why FPS have gotten so big on consoles unless it was a story driven game. How anyone loves playing COD and co over a bit of CS or some half life mod boggles. I guess its the kiddies. Easier to get them a console and never have to upgrade.
This ^ You can take the best COD player in the world on X box, stick me against him on a mouse and keyboard and i will own his ass. Its a totally impractical tool to play FPS games on. Beat em ups, fine, Football games, fine Driving games, fine FPS....nooooooorrrpe!
Or did you mean it's easier on a PC... Haven't played games on a PC for years.. Personally I find beatem ups harder as the console's have progressed...my hands aren't flexible enough anymore...lol
I think personally bod is right about any open world game. It's the double control. Mouse aims and shoots. Keys select, move character etc. I think it works best.
im not into gaming so much, last game i got into was skyrim on the xbox 360, never been bothered with those cod shoot and run games tbh i find them boring as.
I think the yanks need to take note. When they are desensitising these kids to killing Arabs in call of duty they are not training them well. You need to think hmm. . Future war, do we want console controller's or.... do you want guys who can drive the robot along and aim the gun independently while they indiscriminately slaughter Arab women and children in trumps ideal future.
FPS to me became less fun when they added the separate aiming. They were more fun when simplistic in the old days of Wolfenstein, Blake Stone, and Doom. They're too much work now.
Bad ones yes. The move the mouse ten times to stop looking at the roof sure not great but even where you get at least that ability to look about with mouse while moving it helps
Now true lol...Yanks already hire game players for their attack drones.. And the latest COD game you control land and air drones lol.. And it'll all be VR by then.
