A special day for one poster on this board who always offers valid opinion and helps keep our D&I numbers up. Today we we should all celebrate that one person and try be kind to them for one day and appreciate them not only as a fan but as a person. So so I hope you can all join me in saying, happy International Woman's day to Luvgonzo Oh and Wishi as well I suppose.

now we really know poo rIBWT does work with HR and women. The hateful slags in my work put purple balooon on every woman's desk yesterday singling out who is femlae (some do look male) and today sent out a "celebratory lunch" invite last minute and spelled out ALL are welcome.. but if any man turns up he will get cold shoulder. Its sexist in the extreme and condescending to the females in the building that they got a little balloon for having an inny not an outy this week.
The point of the day is "fighting for women's equality, equal pay etc." so a men's day would be pointless.
Yup, had photos of directors holding cringey cards saying Celebrate women etc... Making huge fuss over it. Never make ale a big fuss over men's day though... I suppose we are a male dominated company so they are in the minoritt, apart from HR
the point though is women using their professionalism and inspiring their younger colleagues through networking and mentorship... not being condescending by having a free lunch and giving out balloons. Most of the ballons got stolen by men btw and moved about in the offices where i am. they also didn't put much effort in cos the missed the bird next to my desk cos she was away. They could have at least been organised and got the desk map and ensure every woman got a pretty gift. BTW... valentines day.. now mother day and the very next day is bloody womens day... thats going a bit far IMO. And you can bet when fathers day rolls about i won't get flowers, breakfast in bed, dinner cooked and gifts too...
Youre in trouble if you through Mother's Day was yesterday... That's probably why you'll get nothing for Father's Day.
