got to be Julie managerial experience - why change a habit Ashley's first choice - Ashley knows she can turn off the lights as she leaves
Canny believe it hasnt happened yet. Dont believe he will be sacked before the leicester game now. Depending on how bad that result it, he could immediatley be sacked after the game, or the next day? Someone else will have to come in for the Mackem match. forget the last 6 or 7 results or whatever, this match is more than a derby now, its the difference between staying up or going down.
It feels like hes a dead man walking. Maybe the logic is to let the leicester game play out, then sack him, simply because then he will still take the fans blame for a leceister defeat.
They apparently want someone to come straight in so are interviewing 2/3 candidates. The outstanding one being Moyes apparently. They don't want to repeat what happened with Pardew/ Carver.
I don't think it matters who they are talking to now as they have left it too long to sack Tufty and look anything other than incompetent, even yesterday would have shown some decision making action but now just looks stupid.
If it was me, I'd give Benitez 9 games starting after Leicester, but sack Schteve/'appoint' him before that match. I'd allow a clause for relegation as well. I'd also let him offer his view on what needs to happen either way.
Pardew kept his job despite all of the protests to sack him Carver kept his job despite being the thickest person ever to manage a Premier League football club Will McLaren get sacked? Hmmm
We need someone to come in, be allowed to assess the football side of things, tell people exactly what is wrong, change the whole structure and be given full control to overhaul. We won't do that though because the idiots in charge won't want someone to tell them to their faces that they are running the 'football' club the wrong way even though everyone in football has told them for years.
There is a lot of thick people who keep their jobs you only have to walk around Sunderland to realise that.
I also know thick people who are able to punctuate. I do like your profile photo though. Is it from a Pink Floyd album?
That basically means that McClaren is going to be in charge of the Leicester game unless someone else from the backroom is shoehorned into the job at the last minute. "Hold out two hands and close your eyes" "What's this in the first hand that you've given me?" "Your dugout tracksuit with your initials on it." "Okay, that sounds good. What's in the other hand?" "A poisoned chalice." "Bugger."
BBC sports reporting that a decision over McLarens future will be taken in the next 48 hours. God it's just so laughable, we do they dilly dally so much, we are losing precious time.
