    Massive, massive game tonight.

Beat MK Dons, and we are back within touching distance of survival, albeit with a daunting run of fixtures now coming up. A draw is a waste of time given our goal difference. A defeat, and the game is just about up, it would leave us needing to beat the likes of Burnley, Derby and Brighton to survive. Highly unlikely.

I hope that Riga plays the same formation and line up as we saw at Brentford on Saturday, with Poyet coming in for the injured Alou Diarra. With Callum Harriott in good form, leave him up front alongside the dangerous Sanogo.

The risk, as always, is at the back. Even against a poor Brentford side, our defence parted like Katrien's legs when Naby Sarr is around. Fanni seems to have dragged Teixeira down a couple of levels, and Fox is always prone to a howler. Henderson should be back tonight however, and Motta looks to have achieved the impossible- the title 'a decent Duchatelet signing'. I suppose 1 in every 50 players isn't bad.

Must win game. I will be there. COYA.

If we lose tonight it will mean that the Brentford win was just the last twitch of a corpse. I wasn't there, but watching the highlights I was amazed at the composure of Harriott's two finishes, so playing with two strikers who both carry a threat is a rare treat. However you can't see us keeping a clean sheet, even against a team almost as bad as us. I expect the crowd to rise to the occasion, and roar us on to a 1-1 draw.

Agree about Harriott, he seems to have finally added some composure to his game. Long overdue, as he snatched at so many chances...

I am wondering what the attendance will be like tonight....8,000, including 500 MKD ?

Boycott the game? No way. SiG, if I was there I'd take you up on the season ticket, but I'll be huddled round the PC tonight. To be honest, if we can get a win tonight, the confort zone above us will evaporate, and a lot of clubs we should have beaten recently (Bristol and Fulham) will be looking over their shoulders very nervously. Can't say I'm confident about this one, but at least the patient seems to still have a pulse.

I'm still not convinced a win changes much tonight. In fact - I actually think we might win a tense affair 1-0 - but that goal difference is going to come back to haunt us.

We don't just need 3 points in every game we play, we need to win comfortably.

We're going to either obliterate them or Simon Church will give them a 1 nil win. I fancy the former, 3 nil.

That line about Sarr and Meire cracked me up. Ridiculously big game, must must win. I'll finally admit
relegation if we lose, but we won't,
We are staying up, 2-0 Harriott and Solly

Rumours on Twitter that Ba has played his last game for Charlton [<cheers>], following a falling out with Jose Riga last week. Somewhat ironic considering that Ba has been very Ba-d up until his recent MOM performance at Fulham.

Another dud to be shifted off the wage bill this summer.

It is a big game for Diego Poyet tonight if he starts. The Brentford game once again passed him by on Saturday - is there still a player in there or not?

A game that always stood out for me re Poyet was Sheff Weds away in the cup. He put a passing exhibition on, as well the defensive duties he was better known for. He was menacing as well as solid.

    What's happened?

Lets hope Diego doesn't turn into another David Bentley- a player who was financially rewarded too soon and lost his hunger for football. It is hard to see where Diego goes after Charlton if this loan doesn't work out- given the way West Ham are progressing, it won't be back to East London [at least not to play football]

He has been badly advised by his father - he should have been playing football every Saturday over the last 18 months.

Don't know whether you can blame his father. At his age he may well have rejected his Dad's advice.

It was widely rumoured at the time that Gus was the key voice urging Diego to sh1t on Charlton, and take the ££££'s elsewhere.
