I'll probably give it a miss anyway, visiting in-laws.

Another "fantastic" offer from the club, £150 for 2 adults and 2 juniors for the Boro game. Includes:

    Two course meal
    Programs and team sheets (Wow!)
A visit from a Charlton legend (Peacock I assume)
Entertainment throughout the day. (Now what could that be?)
Hostess to support your matchday experience. (AAAAARRRRRGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!)
Charlton gift set ( 90 second CD of the season's highlights?)
Private table (away from the riff-raff)

    Don't all rush at once.

I'd rather eat dinner with Donald Drumpf, the corpse of Bin Laden and Kim Jong-Un than have a meal at The Valley, with the likes of KM hanging around.

Unless the entertainment is a top class hostess stripper, then we might have ourselves a better deal?!?!?!?!

It needs to get nasty at the Valley on Sunday, before, during and after the game. Disrupt the game in front of a live national TV audience, and then get the Sky cameras focused on the mass protest after.

We are all but down, and anything goes now as far as I am concerned.

Yep, it's our big chance, and since my in-laws have come down with flu I can make it now. The onus is on CARD to come up with something we can all get behind.

I'm not going on Sunday - nightmare to get there, and we are ****. I await the underwhelming CARD protest. Maybe they have a new banner.

Could we forget the 'suport the team, not the regime' stuff? As I said yesterday, an implicit part of the protests is that the players are not good enough. Now that we seem destined for relegation, let's at least protest in the ground. Or walk out. I'm not going to advocate people go on the pitch and get arrested and recieve bans, but at least the time has come to make the Valley a place where any regime lackey doesn't want to be.

Surly if you protest and they arrest you, that is an infringement of your right to free speech? That is grounds to get the club into bother.

If it's non violent, even on the pitch, or non abusive, it is free speech and therefore protected, i.e: government vs. Westminster War Protester.

No China, it is illegal for a fan to go onto a sports pitch...

    From Wiki ....
The partial demise of pitch invasions may partly be due to the fact that in 1991 pitch invasions were criminalised in the UK under the Football Offences Act.[31] However, they do still occur, especially in the lower divisions where there is less policing and security.

But there's another law than trumps that one. Surely rights of free speech trumps one of pitch invasions... It's guaranteed by international law, European law and UK law.

That, as long as it's peaceful, Football Offences Act would not apply. Looking at the pure legal aspects.

I reckon that next season C.A.R.D should consult with a solicitor who specialises in constitutional law
