She did. Family doctor and all that. Signed a prescription. Just cos they are Russian... I mean that's not illegal
always amuses me that no pro footballer ever seems to test positive for performance enhancing drugs presumably because they are all such fine upstanding citizens who would never even contemplate cheating mind you anyone else find it confusing you can get banned for taking the wrong cold remedy because it contains a minute of a stimulant but perfectly acceptable to use cortisone and painkillers to make you able to compete when without you couldn't. really fail to see the difference
American citizenship is a curse for anyone rich living overseas. One of only two countries in the world that takes income tax from its citizens even if they never step foot in America. Unless you live full time in the US and plan on never leaving the US... Its inadvisable to ever get US citizenship.
Yeah. she is in florida so i presume thats to do with a few things like most advantageous tax so i would presume she's got some form of visa for the tour. All I think is it's probably a very silly error but i'm not sure she'll get a dispensation as she should have applied for it in September when the list came out not now.
One lesson for the drug testers is if you start warning people about something thats a future red card then if you can see it in their tests a bit of a warning would seem to be a perhaps sensible thing to do. however t is their responsibility to inform of all taken etc. Well with a 20mil dollar a year career you'd think they'd pay more attention.
Maybe, but if so, someone slacked on their job bigtime. She probably has a whole slew of staff. Manager, sports doctor, trainer, training partner. Someone should have picked up on this.
yes. The thing is she made it sound like what she had was a different name so had no idea but the actual wada list has what he was taking listed. she is not getting off. I don't think anyone reasonable would say cheat to her but she is going to be seen as a silly billy.
one could argue she was cheating as she was taking a drug for it's performance enhancing qualities . i know she said it had been prescribed by her family doctor for a medical condition but i take that with a shovel of salt
I think it was not banned so is no any more that guys taking asthma inhalers or guys swallowing tonnes of creatine etc. once it was banned then its this change process that everyone needs be aware of The lesson to all is know what you are doing and make sure what you are doing is checked every year. maybe they did know it was a legal enhancer all along i don't know obviously but it does seem rather silly.
