I'm in full on beel mode. Charnley is like that clinker you struggle to wipe off your arse after one of those tar like ****s you have after 10 pints of Guinness. He just sticks around no matter what you throw at him like the fat, bald **** he is.
If Ashley has had to step in again, because Penfold shows just how far out of his depth he is, then surely he will be also shown the door in the summer. Ashley had to intervene in the Townsend deal because Penfold couldn't make Levy's tea just the way he likes it. Now it looks like he has to act again because Penfold is content to sit on his chubby little hands whilst our season lurches from bad to worst. In my opinion Penfold has been the biggest disaster here. Since he took over we have gone from really bad, to catastrophically bad. Ashley wont blame himself and he will get sick of paying off managers when the problem is clearly that little fat necked, stumpy twat. Lambeezy coming back is a good shout. He has obviously kissed and made up with Ashley and, cockney ****er or not, he was at least a passing resemblance to a proper MD, and not some over promoted PG Tips pourer. He is the best we can probably hope for, boardroom wise, as long as Ashley owns the club.
Here's a thought, Ashley can't sack McClaren because he is not an executive at the club, Charnley doesn't want to sack McClaren so big row with Ashley and hence this delay, following this Ashley returns to the board of the club along with Lamby and Charnel goes, possible.
It's possible, maybe even likely, but as owner of the club he can do whatever the fck he wants. Ashley's on an image assault at the moment - raising wages, changing SD structure, meeting MP's - he's just taking advice and the advice here is "stay out of it, this has to have Charnley all over it".
I wouldn't want him in the Championship. That would be a time to build & get rid of the dead wood, he'd cock that right up!
Yiiiiiiissss. Everyone knows he's getting the boot now - results down the toilet, players revolting against him, Shearer ranting on MOTD, fans "sack the prick" letter, even loveable old John saying give him the boot....keeping him now would be a PR nightmare. But they're letting him take the training session today! Is this some kind of gloating sadistic torture so all the players can give him some abuse before he's booted? If we're bringing a manager go get one now! No passive little talks and gentle contact, find a bloody manager now and get rid of the clown!
This is getting like a car trip with the kids in the back saying "are we nearly there yet?" "Has he been sacked yet?" "Almost!" "Not long now"
This is ridiculous!!! We played Saturday and at any other club he would have been gone by Sunday lunch. I sense a "how many board members does it take to sack a manager" joke in this somewhere.
If that picture isn't taken down immediately then I will have to advise Penfold & Co to seek an injunction against you compelling you to remove that picture. The Club's Board Meeting was private and no pictures were meant to be taken!!!
So where are we at this lunchtime - allegedly we have 2/3 options being discussed, one is much preferred, but they want assurances before sacking McClaren. It does make a teeny bit of sense. But then we don't know what the 2/3 options are. Bookies say Moyes, Pearson, Benitez. Charnley's bit of paper says Curbishley, Craig Brown and Redknapp.
