I was at the game, and Leicester were on the rocks all game, constantly having to thwart our attacks by cunningly and consistently laying siege to our goal for large portions of the match. Sneaky bastards. In fact, if it wasn't for Leicester's 90% possession and merciless exploitation of our one tiny weakness (football... sshhhhhhhh), we'd have deservedly won about 5-0, don't even deny it.
Hopefully Leicester will be champions like Lester. And, in any case, I can't see anything but 4-1. It's going to be grim. Really grim.
Obviously Leicester City will win this game, but I'm more confused about why people want Nigel Pearson as Newcastle United Manager? He almost got Leicester relegated with the squad Ranieri has top of the league! Makes no sense to me.
Having already worked for Ashley, you would have to seriously doubt Pearson's sanity, if he himself even gave it a second thought about returning.
It's because of how we ended the season that we were able to kick on this season. Think he would have had us easily mid table if he'd stayed this year. He may not always make the right substitutions, but we were always in games, only losing them by the odd goal due to lack of end product, a lot like Swans this year. He'll get rid of any players that don't pull their weight, so if your after a team that puts in maximum effort, then he's the man you need. Also think he's more likely to stay if you did get relegated, Moyes and Benitez (really? Benitez?) wont soil their top flight reputations in the Championship. Personally think the board won't have the balls to sack McClaren. If he sends you down it will become the perfect job for Pearson.
good one!!! We will be getting in more quality in depth so assist for the Champions League (can't believe I'm saying that) won't be anywhere near relegation. Top half next season
