It isn't a technical point. If you win the last nine games then you will be champions. Spurs will drop at least 4 points and Leicester at least nine. On the other hand if you win 3 draw 3 and lose 3 which is closer to your current form then you will be 6th probably. You are quite capable of both of those runs. I still say you will struggle to improve on Wenger. In the fifty years between the war and his appointment, Arsenal were almost always in the top 3 or 4 clubs in the country resource wise but your average position was 7th. Since he arrived you've been about third or fourth resource wise and averaged between 2nd and 3rd. Its very hard to get a manager who makes a real difference like that: ask Daniel Levy.
Oh if I had a penny for every time I hear the line "should, can do this and that", talk about repetitive and boring. We have been saying that for 3 months now. 9 leagues games, 2 wins, 5 games in all competitions, 0 wins, 3 losses, 2 draws. Yes, sure we can go on a run lol, if by go on a run you mean a run of **** and bottle jobs, I agree with you 100%. If you mean the opposite, then unfortunately you're starting to drink from that kool aid Piskie be handing out. lol, after we drop points to Everton, it'll be like, we still have 8 games, we can still go on a run. lol, funny. Wenger out!
We have gone 3 league games without a win, in that run, we could not beat a under-21 United side, could not beat Swansea home, their B team I might add, and had Coq go ****** and cost us our first potential win in that run....But suddenly, a miracle is going to happen, where we will get our act together, our players will stop showing mental stupidity, something they can't go 2 games without, and win 9 on the bounce, or 7-8 whatever run number you guys have in mind. Right......Makes a lot of logical sense. We will also beat Barcelona to qualify for the last 8 while we're at it.
Wenger : 'Title race is far from over' http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/35745218 Thankfully our manager doesn't share the opinion of some of our fans that it's already over. We might end up with nothing, but that isn't an excuse for giving up now. As he rightly says, we have to fight for every point.
Piskie be all like, handing out the kool aid and **** and I'm all like no he didn't . What's up wi that ?.
all anti wenger-ites should be ashamed of themselves, the man turned your club into one of the best in the game, a living legend for arsenal. awful fickle football these days no loyalty at all
Probably, and in that time wenger has kept you in the top 4 and won a few things we in that time... well look at us
I'm not an Arsenal fan I was curious how many managers Liverpool have had since '96 ? I lived in N7 for 15 years and went to about 20-25 Arsenal games and consider Wenger a great manager.
