Well duhhhh, how many years has Wenger been a coach, and Simeone? Wenger has been a coach for us alone for 20 decades, that's more than the combined managerial careers of both Simeone and Allegri. The Spanish league was always at least for a long time between Real and Barca, but Simeon's Athletico have made it a 3 horse race, and even won the title 2 years ago. And in that short time he has also taken them to a champions league final which they were just moments away from winning. That is a very impressive resume for a new manager, at a club where he didnt walk into a team handed to him for success. The Italian league might not be so strong, but Juventus' competitiveness in Europe shows Allegri is a good manager, and it's not just down to weak opposition in Italy that he does well.
... so what you are actually saying is that both have managed losing CL finals like Wenger but have won less domestic honours ... however both are younger and therefore somehow guaranteed to be more successful going forwad because ... ermmm .... they are younger ... ... plus you are also inferring that Wenger inherited a team 'handed to him for success' ?? ... would that be the team that George Graham managed so succesfully to become one of the most boring ever to have won a domestic title ... success at the cost of a pulse and entertainment? ... "... one nil to the Arsenal" as mocked by many is not begrudging praise but an indictment of something close to van Ghoul's anti-football approach at United .. It may well be time or Arsene Wenger to stand down - everything and everbody has a sell by date - but Arsenal fans should be eternally grateful for what he achieved with the club - he transformed it from a bunch of 'succesful' sleep inducers to a joy for neutrals to watch, with scintilating football and also filled the trophy cabinets with honours ... now the majority of football fans in this country, especially the ones that have supported their own clubs through generations and geographical proximity, would have strangled their own grannies for anything close to the glorious times that Wenger brought to the Goons over the years ... No club has a divine right to be challenging for honours ... but Wenger has all but acheived that on an annual basis during his tenure ... Hopefully he will step down of his own accord and with dignity in the summer, because he certainly doesn't deserve some of the vitriol he has been getting off the more graceless goons who sulk if they don't win ... .
.. by strange coincidence I am attempting to write a novel in my spare time ... very perceptive of you ... in like minded spirit ... would you like me to send you some crayons?

What you need to realise is on the PL board, when Piskie is occupied then Fosse takes over and says the exact same thing as Piskie..regardless of his claims For being genuinely interested. This Rupert bloke and his real whereabouts are becoming more and more apparent to the rest of us.
But he's been there for 20 decades!...you have to admit that that's a ****ing good trick, if you can do it!...
they're taking turns!!!! ... no wonder the poor bloke looks so haggard and is running for it !!!! please log in to view this image
... as I mentioned in my diatribe ... it may well be time for him to move on ... but fair play ... think about it - during his time in charge your lot have won one League Cup (we've won 2 ) but how many other clubs have won anything? ... as I said, there is no 'divine right' to win things ... be grateful for the good times rather than moaning if your team doesn't allways stay at the top of the pile .... ... what I loved about League 1 (and it wasn't that long ago) was the interaction with genuine supporters of teams whose only glories might have been the odd promotion here and there, yet they support their teams day-in-day-out for the pure love of the game and loyalty to THEIR particular football club ... everybody dreams but there are only a handful of trophies ... in years to come the non-plastics will tell their kids abiout the 'invincibles' and the wonderful football under Arsene Wenger ... and how things were so different to life in the Conference
I see what you did, there, CFC! Very cheeky, and a superb stealth-wum on Pixie! Congratulations, mate!
