Even the staunchest members brainwashed by Wenger's cult are questioning him now.

Afctw cannot be deprogrammed, but even the likes of Pixie are questioning the Arsenal party line.

"I'm not opposed to replacing Wenger.. I repeat I am not opposed to replacing Wenger'

Is it time for Arsene to go?

He should have gone YEARS ago and taken a little dignity with him.

If they win they will, because most of them are as fair weather as they come.

  5. Yes, Gooners are incredibly fickle - even Pixie, it would seem, which disappoints me - but I think the momentum against Wenger is so great that today's result won't make any difference (other than to harden a desire for his removal, should they lose). If he won the league, then I can see a lot of fans changing their tune and welcoming Wenger back into the fold. It's not for nothing that the number in Arsenal87's tag refers to his IQ, but at least he's honest about that. Other Gooners who post on this site are equally as dim, but try to make out that they are not. Fortunately, they are easy to spot because the have difficulty in writing and breathing at the same time, and you can see it in the ****e they come out with.

I think Wenger's days are numbered (unless Arsenal win the title), but my preference would be for him to stay. I wouldn't want to run the risk of Arsenal getting better should Wenger go, since they are clearly there for the taking with him clinging on to power, like a decrepit old barnacle.

From Chelsea and United's point of view, it would be best if Wenger flukes the title and stays in power for a few more years, because Arsenal will have no chance when City United and Chelsea get their act together.

Or even if just one out of the three do

  9. You're asking the impossible, though, CFC. Most Gooners believe that Wenger no longer has it in himself to win another title, which is why they desperately want him gone.

Nothing like the Chavs though! I wonder if you will go in to hiding if you start losing games again:grin:

  14. On current form, you've got to say that Chelsea are favourites to overtake Arsenal.

... personally I'm relieved to see that West Ham, at least, are intent on stopping Chelsea finishing as the highest placed 'London' team again ... ...

  16. If Palace could get their act together, we could see Chelsea finish as lowest.

Piskie is full of ****, he says he's not opposed to replacing Wenger, yet you name any manager to come replace him, and he will be like no, no, no, no, no not him either, so he's just talking out of his ass when he says that.

So many top managers were on the market in the last 2 years (Klopp, Anchelotti, Guardiola) and they're all gone now, but when they were available, Piskie was never bringing them up as replacements for Wenger, he was having none of it, so the guy's full of it when he says he isn't opposed to replacing Wenger.

Piskie is like Wenger, content with top 4 finishes, and consistently qualifying for Europe, that for him is the definition of success.

... just out of interest, if Wenger was to go, who would you want to replace him?

    Simeone, Allegri.

Those are good candidates. Young, talent, and with proven track record of success.

Wenger has had more success than both ... proven track records are a little subjective ... depends how competitive the domestic league is for one ... not having a go by the way ... just adding an outside perspective ...
