thanks for the link Hilts. Never mind O'keefe's goal, what about the Lawrence strike. He obviously took Tan's coaching on board. Need a few more of those.
Those sort of efforts going inside instead of outside or over the woodwork are what's different. There's far more movement up front and in the middle of the park recently and it all came together for that Brighton game. I don't think we've repeated that level since, but the longer Pilks, Immers and Lawrence run around and create space up front, the more the goals will come. Must say that O'Keefe (who I didn't rate at all when he first came) has risen to the challenge and must now be regarded as one of the first names on the teamsheet.
The partnership of 2 mobile central midielders like Ralls and O'Keefe is key to the improvement. Whitts is looking at his best and Immers Lawrence and Pilkington are thriving. O'Keefe easy goal but he was there to score it. Ralls sets up the first and love the way he also knocks the wurzel off the ball to set it up. In the summer id still add another mobile central midfielder. Maybe Gunner should be a player we need to cash in on. Happy for him to stay but we need to comply with financial fair play and if we can say get close to a million for him then id sell. Hopefully Slade if he stays now sees what is needed at this level/
Just watched the highlights of the 3-2 win over them when we were 2 down; how we didn't get 6 that day? Bothroyd, Burke, Chopra, Whittingham on form were something else. Also who could forget this from another game with them?
