He must look at his game management mate....2 up and he takes lennon off and puts another striker on then goes for more with 10 men? I believe he has to show a dramatic improvement between now and the rest of the season to show the new investor he is the man to take us forward...
Now I've seen it its 100% a dive from that useless donkey. I stick by my comment that you win some, lose some though. John Hartson must be hammered on motd.
I know Harston and Lawro forking nuts You'd have to give all contact at all times if that was a nailed on pen? Like you say win some lose some though...
....and now I've seen it clearer than I could see it in the pub I'm 100% certain that that's as stonewall a pen as I can imagine. Stupid slide, knee connects (harder than I originally thought)...pen all day long for me that.
I like you Jerry but that's a load of ****e. Minimal contact and he goes down. He can quite easily stay on his feat but goes down looking for a penalty. A ****s trick and one of the reasons why I struggle with modern football at times.
None of us can know for sure whether the contact is enough to warrant the fall. We can all express our opinions, but no one opinion is more valid than another. I've seen far worse "dives" from many players-including some of our own.
neither do i but if that's what our lads have to do to compete i'll take it until somebody sees sense and sorts the rules out
I like you too mate I think I'm always honest about these things and like you I hate diving but there was blatant contact and he was running at pace (a miracle for him I know). Could he stay on his feet? Probably, but by the time he recovers his balance the chance has gone so why should he? The defender committed the cardinal sin of diving in stupidly. Had that been against us I'd have been raging at our defender rather than the ref or linesman.
