I think that's down to laziness, this referendum has a lot of unknown territory involved, it's exciting for me though, I like change (apart from when Fergie left)... Way too many people forget that change can be hugely rewarding as well. Sticking with the same plan just reaks of fear to me. I think if we leave, the EU will begin to dismantle itself, especially if we make a success early doors.
I honestly believe vote in or out my life will carry on as though f uck alls happened and most people will be just the same.
Today's headline news headline -BRUSSELS chief Jean-Claude Juncker warned Britain could spark World War Three if it votes to leave the European Union ... That kind of ridiculous statement says to me **** it let's 'Get Out' and bring it on
But isn't WW3 happening now in Syria? Would it not be WW4 or WW3.1? If Brits vote to leave the EU, everybody will get the Superstrain Swine Zikabola and die within 8 minutes.
F uck me its true then thats what I herad aswell You always have to make out as though things are worse than they really are its 12 minutes stop bloody scare mongering.
I couldn't agree more, How can we stay in a corrupt club that hasn't it accounts audited now for over 19 years...Its out for me and hope that this political mess collapses soon after. we don't need the EU.
I would be amazed if there is an out vote.. Once people start to understand that trying to go it alone in a globalised economy would be a disaster, then the yes vote should prevail..
Do most people understand or appreciate your concerns about the economy though? I doubt it. The average guy in the street could be thinking 'less immigration, less chance of the NHS being privatised'... Obviously it's not as simple as that but it's too simplistic also to assume people will know the implications on the economy, assuming that you're right, which is not a given either. I agree though, I'll be surprised with an exit vote.
It may be just the cynic in me but when there is pretty much cross party consensus about staying in, then my "its corrupt radar" kicks in. I actually do believe there is so much self interest at stake here for most MP's to vote out, would be like Turkeys voting for Xmas. Talking of Turkey, anyone thought if we stay in the EU and when Turkey become a member, our border then starts at Syria. If you think we have issues now, wait till that happens. The sooner we take ownership of ALL our affairs the better and safer our country will be. We spend Billions of tax payers pounds keeping this corrupt organization afloat. Imagine if that cash could go to the well-being of British citizens.
