Harsh mate - consider the fact that he's expected to be the mai defensive shield in midfield, cover for Moreno but also get on the ball and drive forward. He does so much because no one else does it - he's a special player who is rough around the edges. Disagree about not tracking runs - he can miss the odd run but he's very good defensively and one of the few in our team who physically matched Palace. Agree that we need to buy better because he's still raw. But that's an indictment on Henderson, Milner and Lucas.
And Klopp with the master stroke of bringing on Benteke and not Sturridge. Benteke made a good run to win the penalty and had the bottle to take it. Well done lad.
And Moreno will continue to get pelters but he was decent today. Still a few trademark Moreno moments but Palace didn't create much down that left side.
Don't get me wrong, he makes mistakes and he needs to play quicker. But this kid (still just turned 21) is our best midfielder despite having little support around him. He's gonna be special.
Can is probably our 2nd worst Midfielder if we're honest. Allen for me is probably a smidge worse. Can's ego is huge, he needs to learn he's not that good yet - perhaps if he does learn he will Improve
got a sneaking suspicion that i am on my own with this one but i thought Benteke was our only forward in the 90 mins who looked a real goal threat though that might be that as a team our best spell was around the time he came on so possibly coincidence
First time in almost exactly one year that LFC have put together 3 consecutive wins in the Premier League. March 16, 2015 was last run. On a side note, Firmino had a poor game but he's contributing a goal or an assist every 105 mins this season - 4th best in the league.
Can't really comment because I missed the last 30 mins (was trying to watch on sky go but kept cutting off). But I noticed that he made some good runs. I thought Origi was good as well - just needs more support. Lallana, Milner and Firmino were poor and offered very little.
Do you know who else can get ****edd? Bolasie. This guy is unbelievably average but somehow turns into Pele against us. And this isn't a dig at Flanno but once he came off and Lovren moved to RB, Bolasie was ineffective. And that's credit to Lovren.
