Agree. Personally I'd like us to throw the kitchen sink at them from the off. For me, I'd start Routs and Barrow on the wings with Ayew up top. Blitz them fast and hard on the counterattack. But, we'll probably start with a formation/team/tactics to get a point.
Breaks are catching up with us , but we're not going to keep getting them . The points are great but our game isn't . We need to shake things up a bit and the biggest way to do that is letting a couple of good old fashion blistering wingers start . Barrow and Montero's speed will for sure create more space for Fer and Siggy to work a bit of magic along with our striker . It just seems odd we've totally abandoned the idea of bullit wingers .....what brought us most of our success to this point
I'm all for shaking things up, but I'd prefer a few more points on the board first . 4 points from our next two games and its job done.
Palace lost 2-1 to 10 man Liverpool, 94 minute penalty, not a pen in a million years. still good for us.
I would go with Fab Rangel/naughton, Williams Fernandez, Taylor/Kingsley Fer, Cork, Barrow Siggy Routledge/Montero Ayew Subs, Norstfeld, Amat, Ki (if fit) Leon, Paloschi, then one of the fullbacks and one of the wide men.
I tend to agree with Roof on this one.We won yesterday and I know it was a nervy, edgy game but at the moment theres no fluency to our game.I would definitely start Barrow hes young and unpredictable and speedy a defenders nightmare.I for one would also try to slot Fer in from the start because I have been quietly impressed with his involvement in the team.My last point is that we should let Paloschi start every game I think we need to build his confidence because I really think we have a great little poacher on our books
Liverpool have beaten Palace. Palace still haven't won a PL match in 2016. They've lost against 10 men to a last minute penalty - Palace in free fall?
Hate seeing a good game ruined by overbearing refs .....especially in the dying moments ... Really feel for Palace although , like you say , helps us eying a higher rung in the table .
Instead of Palace playing Man Utd on Saturday, they've got an FA Cup game against Reading next Friday, so if we can get something against Bournemouth, we would move ahead of them.
That would then put a little pressure on them. Just about to watch Manure v WBA and again I look at the WBA side who are above us and I wouldn't have one of the back four or midfield in front of any of ours, However I think I would have both of their strikers.
I was there with the Liverpool fans. How on earth they won that is beyond me. On the Bournemouth game I agree with the assessment that we should expect them to come at us early doors. However, try to play too defensively and deep and we will lose this game. Play a pressing game as we did v Arsenal and we can actually win it. I'm having increasing difficulty in predicting what we're going to do so I'll cop out and go 1-1.
Tough one to call.Bournemouth remind me of ourselves when we first joined pl full of confidence no superstars but they keep the ball and play attractive football.I also think if we sit back we will lose so for this reason I would start Fer and Barrow if this is the case I would expect a draw which would be a good point
