    Same old nonsense..

"The players' performances over the past month have not gained the points they deserved," said O'Driscoll.

"This is a different phase of the season and, as we have repeatedly seen, teams have recognised the team's strengths from the first half of the campaign and prepared to counter that when facing us.

(this amounts to admitting you're being out thought Mr O'driscoll)

"But the players deserve enormous credit for adapting, finding different ways to play and maintaining their performance levels even, at times, in the face of frustration and disappointment."

I thought that, would be funny if he did take it as that would be twice he's took over after SOD. Reckon that job would suit Cotts perfectly.

He hasn't been sacked due to results mate. Apparently he was "toxic" to the club, he also criticised the fans. Face it, he's been successful at one club, much like Darren Ferguson. Everywhere else he's been sacked and kicked to the curb.

A toxic person at any club, amazed he's somehow got 20 or so years managerial experience. I hope no other club appoints the man (apart from the sags, of course)

be careful for what you wish for ...since he took over ..

    6th best points total behind *Barnsley 38, Swindon 32, Burton 31, *Wigan 31 *Millwall 27, WALSALL 26, .. .. .. *Gills on 24, *PVale 23, *Bradford 22, and *Coventry on 15 are worse..
    * have all played 1 game more
SO YES cant be on form .... .... .... was without Bradshaw foe a while? ...

they were 4th with still a game in hand, 5 behind Coventry 4 behind Gills and 2 behind Burton on a par gamewise ...

now .level with Gills game in hand, 5 behind Wigan gih, 9 behind Burton on a par still ...
NOT making any excuses for SOD, but hopefully Walsall have someone lined up! ... ... .. .. the last 6 results have let him down ..... Millwall, Wigan and Barnsley HAVE BEEN ON FIRE!... draw against Burton and Scunthorpe commendable, but shocking against CREWE...

Took this from OTIB from a Walsall fan

"Hi Saddler in peace. Thought I'd have a poke around at SODs previous clubs to see the reaction to us sacking him. I think you all know how bad he is with the media. To refer to the club that employ you as "they" says it all really. The bloke is as you say above a bluffer. Some have said that it is a knee jerk reaction. I can honestly say that Walsall don't do knee jerk reactions of any kind. Dean Smith went 16 games without a win and the football was rubbish and we still stood by him. That must tell you how bad SOD s reign was. We went from free flowing passing to knock it up the channels and hope for the best. I would love to see Cotterill at Walsall but he will want too much money for us. That team you had last season were fabulous to watch, even if you did wipe the floor with us !! Anyway, good luck for the rest of the season. Hopefully see you in the Championship next"

When will RR realise the bloke was ****ing awful and took us too long to sack the tit.
I know some will say results was improving (and no doubt refer back to one or two games) but to me he sucked the life out of me watching and very nearly handed my season ticket back. He would off in my opinion took us down to division four if we didn't act when we did. Baldock ended up season highest scorer and high percentage came when he wasn't our 5 foot target man.
