He didn't seem his usual self. Bit crazy to make the weight jump

 

It could be many things.

A) told to lose

B) trained for other match and could not change enough. It's not muscle he added as weight.

C) this guy planned his takedown as everyone said he'd no ground game.

D) mcgregor been fighting in a low weight bracket with superior reach and power and got found out against a guy who matched him up.

E) mendez fight showed how to beat the guy and this guy ground it out. Didn't give the talk and credence and waited for mcgregor then knocked his head off.

They would but a fortune had to have been made on it by someone.

 

In my opinion he rushed moving up a weight. Should have trained solid at that weight for a good 9 months then gone for it.

I was hoping he'd win, but knew he wouldn't.

 

gaining/losing even a little amount weight has a massive impact on performance in sport, takes time for the mind/body to adapt ... an often overlooked fact

 

Well the weight has very little to do with power when its just beer fat.

this guy diaz said he was on beach two weeks ago and didnt do any real training so he was at his weight and not ready to fight but mcgregor should have been building to lightweight from featherweight so should have been building power and then just didn't have to cut as much.

he got found out. simple as. he has huge reach advantage at the lighter weights and step in the ring with a guy who could take the shots mcgregor had and keep coming. once that occurred it was always going to be a slog.

if he'd not got tagged in second mcgregor was going to blow out i think. He just didn't have the power for it.

the fact is this diaz guy wasn't as good as mcgregor but he rode the shots, then caught mcgregor and after that mcgregor couldn't think and ended up getting choked out

Mcgregor had reach on aldo for instance. not much but some.

 

Diaz had been in training for a triathlon or something similar

Have a feeling Brook fluid loaded pre weigh in, he won't have to dehydrate and the 2-3kg loss will help his speed. The other guy thinks he will fight heavy, tactical........
