Not yet mate. The message might yet get through. That`s the problem. Every reported post has to be dealt with. They have to be looked at. Rightly so. Breaches of the law can close the site down. None of us want that. They all have to be dealt with. What irritates the hell out of me is "! don`t like what he said" - report, should be banned. "He called me a ****" - report. should be banned. I would love to say "go and sit in the corner, suck your thumb and shut the **** up". I`d probably be reported.
Keep the noise down pops, some of us are trying to kip, blimey these oldies are worse than the youngsters for making a racket into the early hours of Sunday morning
I know you can't ignore a list of reports in case there's something serious there, but if you've pointed out to someone once that they are misusing the report feature to have a whinge instead of actual rule breaking then it seems that's good enough to me. I say you go ahead and say what you want if you want to have a go at someone for making your forum life a misery. You don't need that crap.

I've always tried to comment on here as I would speak in to someone in real life - I understand it's a 'footie forum' emotions run deep at times - but seriously some of the petty, puerile and juvenile comments that are regularly posted and then get reported jeez sometimes I wonder if this a place isn't just full of adolescents - If posters want to embroil themselves in this manner - please feel free and carry on but to expect me to 'Moderate' the aftermath of some of the **** that's posted then subsequently reported- honestly I cannot be arsed ... life too short! -albeit though if someone breaks the 'forum guidelines'-[ not my rules btw as I'm a tolerant ****er and I'm quite laid back ]- then I will PM the poster or discuss the situation with the other Mods - then take suitable action advisedly- I'm NOT one for banning anyone - but as I dealt with and deleted some of 'vilest images' that were posted on this open forum a couple of weeks ago by a recently banned (and albeit sadly a good) poster whom thought he was (in fact wrongly) being ignored as he'd reported comments that he had not agreed with (Johnson thread) hence to us MODS. Because we had not acted quick enough for him he posted those sick images and to boot called me in affect a 'a nonce sympathiser' -So now he has been subsequently removed from this forum as once again he repeatedly sent via private messaging same or similar imagery to forum members. Last of all I said on a previous thread I didn't ask for this role- I was nominated I said I'd happily help out if needed -and I'll happily stand down also, if anyone has any issues with me or what I said or done as a forum Moderator.
These mods are the best set of mods we've had on here, nothing against the last lot but they weren't around enough and got moaned at for not being readily available at all times, these lot are here every day and all contribute heavily to the forum as well. I appreciate all the work they do, behind the scenes and I support their decision not to intervene with every little tiff on the board. Grown men can sort their own **** out and if they are targeted unfairly, somebody like Bri or another 'no-nonsense' poster will step in and intervene, just like a mate having your back in a boozer rather than having to go to the bouncers and ask for them to deal with everything.
