It's not imprisoning them for their sexual desires though, its imprisoning them for acting upon those desires when they know they are breaking the law, as Johnson clearly was.

Where do you draw the line, 10, 11, 12, 13 years old? Should we just allow adult males to prey upon them and judge each case on its merits? You know, maybe the 10 year old has had a period and was up for it?

You have to set the limit somewhere and 16 is the limit. He knew it but abused her all the same.

 

Personally, I think I would have second thoughts before turning down a 17 year old Jenny Aguter *.

Not sure how many years that gets me.
