Lady luck is with us now so tie her down quick ! A very very welcome 3 points and well won considering we got gomiss as our striker still ! 81%
Shelvey spent 70 % of the game being lazy and raising his hands belittling his own players , and played extra hard for 30% doing excellent to make the rest of the players look bad while being dosed with favourable punditry. No , we did the right thing selling Shelvey , not a " Team " , role model type of player . Governs his good play to his own ego . Good luck to him though , great , wasted talent that could be amazing if that talent could be harnessed by a good manager
The game was pretty much as expected from a six pointer, with both sides too nervous to express themselves and make a mistake. and therefore cancelling each other out. A scrappy match only highlighted by a great through ball from Fer to the unmarked Siggy who duly slotted home the only goal. It was a nervous last ten minutes as Norwich threw everything at us and they could well have equalised, but it was not to be. Huge relief at the end and amazingly we are six points better off than last weekend. On to MOTD, was the editor a Norwich fan? All we saw in the highlights was wave after wave of Norwich attacking play with a few seconds sandwiched in between showing our goal, and the penalty call, an unfair reflection of the game. The ref was more than useless and allowed Norwich to foul constantly. Definite penalty as Ayew was brought down in the box, but these officials only saw what they wanted to see. But, we don't care, we won, and the table makes for good reading, in fact I can't stop looking at it. It's a very happy and relaxed weekend for all Swans fans and players.
But how many managers must he fail under before people realise that he might be nothing more than the odd long ball hype job?
I know what you mean, but I really care. It's these decisions that ruin games. Too often terrible decisions are overlooked just because of a win. If we hadn't won the game we would have been incensed. Imagine we go down on goal difference by a solitary goal - that decision yesterday could be the decision that cost us PL status.
Martin Keown recons Gilfi is the most underrated player in the Prem. His transfer from Spurs with Vorm and Ben going the other way is as good a deal as 2 million for Michu.Even better in my view.People on here were saying we were robbed.Well done Huw!
I've always rated Gylfi very highly. He's a great player who always has produced for us in the big/critical moments. A swap between him and Ben Davies was a no brainier for me and we were by far on the better end of that deal.
