It's not mathematically over for United or West Ham to win it either, but nobody considers them actual contenders, so that's not an actual proper argument. **** me, it's not even mathematically over for Chelski to finish above us, so tell me, do you still count that as a possibility? Something tells me you don't, and if you're not willing to follow your own logic, then you're just full of ****. :).

Oh and by the same logic you use, it's still not mathematically in the books for us to get top 4, but something tells me you don't think we will drop out, even though we're much closer to dropping out, than winning the title.

:) So much for the mathematical argument. When you need to start pulling these type of arguments from your hat, boy oh boy are you clutching at straws.

As I said, not one proper football argument, just some silly maths and hope.

You said that even if we won today, you would have still given up.

    Bottler :)

Well yes, because we lack consistency as results have shown, if we won today, it would be 3 wins out of 9, that is still not good enough by any stretch. We have won in big games before, for it to amount to nothing. We beat City, got hammered 4-0 by Southampton, we beat Leciester, and well, we know what's happened since then, and incase you forgot, let me refresh your memory, we haven't won a single game, LOL!

I'm sorry Piskie, but your enthusiasm and zeal is not shared by the players, if it was, we'd be the ones above Leciester, they didnt want it enough, which is we went to places like West Brom, Norwich and got nothing. Which is why we lost to an under 21 United side, why we lost to Swansea at home, why we never took the impetus after winning the big games like City-Leicester.

If the players put the effort-heart, we would have won the league this year, that's the worst thing. They let themselves down, our club down, ****, they even let the manager down, the one who blindly puts so much faith in them.

This side sure as heck is not capable of winning 9 in a row, or 8 out of 9, or 7 out of 9, which realistically is what it was gonna take, and what it will definitely take now, it's just using simple logic based on our form and results.

When an overpaid, and quite frankly useless Walcott (this season, and for a chunk of last) is getting paid 100+k a week, what do you expect, We as football fans always have a go about players at mid table clubs who are overpaid, yet we're no different than them, Walcott being a prime example. What do you expect when you overpay players who don't deserve it, you end up bottling it.

To be fair, I do agree with you that we have squandered chances that have been put on a plate for us this season. And it is ****ing frustrating, because ideally we should be walking the league this year with the other usual suspects ****ing it up so badly.

But the fact remains, that as difficult as it looks, we are still capable of overhauling an 8 point gap with 27 points still available. To be bluntly honest with you, I'm not bothered if you want to concede it already, that's your prerogative. Personally I don't share it. There's no need to have a full tilt bitch fest about it <ok>

Leciester only need 19 points from those 27. And can you explain why we're capable of overhauling 8 points? We could not overhaul Leciester at 5 points, it extended, but you think we can do 8? And put this on top of the fact that in our last 9, we only won 2 out of them, but you expect us in our next 9, to win 9 in a row? You make no sense.

lol, we probably won't even get past Everton in 2 weeks.

City were not on a run of 2 wins out 9, like we currently are. There is no indication at all, that this side is capable of going on a 9 game winning streak, which is what it's really going to take to win this thing now. Anyone who thinks that is living in sheer fantasy land.

We can't bloody beat an under 21 United side and Swansea B at home! And I'm supposed to think we will magically now turn it around and win 9 on the bounce? ****, we were lucky even today that we didnt lose again.

Well that's how useless he is, wouldnt someone on 100+k be a bang on starter? Instead he finds himself on the bench, says it all.

    West Brom (H) 3
    Everton (A) 3
    Watford (H) 3
    West Ham (A) 1
    Palace (H) 3
    Sunderland (A) 3
    Norwich (H) 3
    City (A) 1
    Villa (H) 3

That's 23 pts means you finish on 75 pts. That could well be enough this season <whistle>

Assume AW now is looking to finish 4th & claim a successful season. Agree Walcott has been a big disappointment this season. Has scored the odd goal though. Not enough for a senior player.

That's a rose tinted way of looking at things, a more realistic way:

    Everton, 1

    Watford, 3

    West Ham, 1

    C Palace, 3

    Sunderland, 3

    Norwich, 3

    City, 0

    Villa, 3

17 points. And that too is a rose tinted way of looking at things you could say, we will probably muck up 2 of those home games like we did VS Southampton-Swansea.

A87, Leicester's season has been like the "perfect storm" where everything has come together to make them bigger than the sum of their parts and tbf to them, brilliant all season. But do you think they'll be up there for seasons to come? Do you honestly think Ranieri is better than Wenger? No, because you need the consistency of Wenger.

Oh not that **** again, about making it in Europe for 18 years. We want to win titles, win a champions league, we deserve to.

Ranieri has been better than Wenger this year, and who knows, if Chelsea didnt kick him out in 2005, who knows what he could have done for Chelski, I bet he would have ended above Wenger many times. A lot of the players from Chelski's golden era in 2005-2006 were his players, and ones he bought, before getting kicked out.

Not saying that, just that consistency will mean when you do eventually win it, you'll be there again the next season and the next and the next. Ranieri won't be (I like the bloke but that's the truth).

But we aren't really there, we always bottle it, and end up fight for 4th, the last time we really stayed to the end was in 2008, when we finished only 4 pts below you, even then we bottled it though
